After 22 trips in 7 years, this last one for 3 months and running, for me, at least the reason to go for the pernoites v sessioing in the clubs comes down to:

I don't mind paying. I don't think it's out of the norm. I read on Brazilian boards where guys are paying girls 1500 or 2000 reais for a weekend at Buzios.

The problem for me was two fold:

1. It's a reflection of the economics. "Brazil is the country of the future and it always will be" it is said. With 13% interest rates / inflation, Brazil needs foreign investors to fund infrastructure, including the bundas of its' Class the family women.
