Me, as a rookie coming to Pattaya and paying 1000 for LT and 500 for ST with attractive freelancers found in discoteques and Beach Road, it really amazes me how easily some of the mongers in here are scammed and fooled with twice the real rates.

If they want a particular little hottie and she wants 1500 for LT, not everyone is prepared to kill the fun for the sake of 500 baht (or a meal in McDonalds).

He appears lucid and active, mentioned he has a nice house with his GF, but since they are painting (work done by GF "brother") some rooms, it was decided that it would have been "better for him to stay outside". Said lady showed up with a sister driving a nice car yesterday. Without saying a word, they hand him some washed clothes, turned back and drive away. I could not tell if the gent was embarassed with by that, yet he still calls her "my baby" and awaits her calls all the time.

My rich friend also seen the scene and remarked on the disrespect. Unfortunately he's not doing much better. Yesterday he barfined the same girl for the third time, we went to Differ, one of these regular clubs for Thais. As the wiskey bottle and sodas bill come, I hand him an 1K note to cover my part. His girl grabs it and put it in her bra with one of these smiles. He seemed puzzled for a second, then he shrugs shoulders and let her keep it. She's just 19 but for sure knows how to play it. Finally we ended at Mixx. For a change, a small cute Thai spinner showed up. Her request 2K take or leave it, I passed. On the other side there was Uzbekistan ladies social club in full swing. My friend said the request was to be 5K, I said 4K and in the end I guessed right, that from a mature fat woman of uncertain hair color, that claimed to be actually Russian.

Have to say I'm not exempt from misery either, for one I have to stop wasting money with booze that I don't even like. I'm also considering actively praying for better luck.

Sure I have succeeded to pay 500 for ST and 1000 for LT but honestly, Pattaya has a rough, hardened athmosphere, far more hardened than Patong and I hope that BKK will be friendlier than here.

i went to the airport go-go bar on walking street around 10:30pm. i sat down sipping my beer and waiting to see what would happen. next to me a group of guys were discussing playfully with a bargirl whose body i liked. when the guys left i turned to her and said: "i thought you would leave with one of those guys". she replied the guy had a girlfriend, which i translated in my head as "he didn't want me bad enough". well, his loss is my gain.
