Very well portrait! Bottom line is, we pay either way. Whether with money or with regrets and I would rather pay with money rather than having a savings account of regret that will accumulate interest in a very higher rate as my flight gains higher altitudes.

Had I taken that girl, I would have set the standard for all other girls I took home at 2 million rupiah for the night from that point on. I can understand guys that are in town for a weekend or fortnight being happy to pay up for what they want but when you live there and the same girl will be available any number of nights moving forward then what's the urgency? Just wait until the timing and pricing is right for both of you.

We often hear guys saying 'it's my money I can spend it how I please'. I agree with this but equally people can refuse to spend their money as they see fit. It's the same argument.

Why go to expense of flying to Asia to pay western prices, I set my price limit accordingly. I too would walk away, but I have a lot of time on my hands.

That's odd, I dropped into MTR last week and I thought the selection was poor. I walked to the back area where the girls are located and they were all seated packed in like sardines as usual there so you can't tell what they really look like. I didn't see any in there I liked.

I'll stand by the need to be able to walk away if the conditions aren't right. It's a pretty basic negotiation skill.

I see gross over paying only affecting guys that are doing the same. These guys are seen as easy marks by the girls and are treated differently to those guys who know the going rates and are not willing to pay stupid prices. I tried to emphasis in my post that this especially applies to long term residents or frequent visitors as the girls know that these guys know the prevailing conditions and there is no point in trying for more. I know of many places that have been overrun by fly in tourists or visitors where the girls are charging these guys top prices yet still meeting local residents for a fraction of these prices and often giving better service thrown into the bargain.

Longer term, I think the inflationary pressure of a few guys overpaying is exaggerated. If we look at Pattaya and Bali, where tourist numbers have exploded and the proportion of high paying Asian visitors has increased, a knowledgable hunter can still get cut price services. This Forum has many posts of sub 300 kRp or 1000 be sessions with decent looking girls.

I see desperate duan as the type that sees that if you pay say $50 for the "6" and that means the hottest girl is that "7" and now she's worth exponentially more than the "6".

Looking from that perspective, I thought these places were pretty good indeed.
