Pattaya has a lot to do with what you make of it. There are issues here and I could list many, but what is an issue for me may be nothing to others. I don't drink or smoke and I stay away from go go joints. Also, I would never try to paint some pseudo utopia about this place and I can complain about it with the best complainers here. However, I make the best I can of what this place is and then just deal with the parts that annoy the heck out of me or I could go somewhere else. Of course I would then have to deal with the issues that any other place would have. I have been here over 2 months so far this trip and I can say that I am very happy. There is actually two guys in the story, one is the elder European, and the other is my friend, not so old, not European, but wealthy. Yesterday we went again to The Moon. This a city, which is very much oriented towards tourism, including plenty sex-tourism in some parts of the town, like near the beach. Two of the main streets, with major nightlife that I checked out, are walking street and beach road. Walking street is about 1 mile long, and has a lot of go-go bars, cafe, noisy music, light ads and girls everywhere. As in someother streets in Pattaya, it can smell rather strange. I think it must be the sewers. Things can get pretty loud and crazy there as well, but I would not say it gets dangerous. Police is present here and there, and they mix on the street with all the working girls, tourists and people that want to sell all their things to the tourists. Most of the bars stay open until 3 AM or even later. I would say 10% to 20% of the girls are lady-boys. Hard to see sometimes whether they are a real woman / girl or not. Some of the prettiest girls you will see, are lady boys. Many of the (real) girls, are rather average, I think there is more quality to be found in Bangkok. Yet, if you look long enough, you will find someone.

On walking street, my guess is that 50% of all the Thai women there, are working girls or go-go girls. Many of the young and pretty ones stand in front of the club, to lure or draw in the customers. They sometimes literally pull you into the go-go club. Anyway, you can always take a look and walk out again rather quickly, if you don't like it. I checked out a bunch of them, but was not too impressed. I did like the the rather naughty Windmill go-go club, near the middle of walking street. Nice girls, and some of show their pretty pussies, while dancing. Just google it (Pattaya windmill go go) and you will find it. Bar-fine is 700 baht. Short time (ST = 1 to max 2 hours) is 2000 baht, but you can always try to negotiate to a lower fee with the lady.

On walking street there are also some Russian cafe's and bars, even a Russian strip bar. My impression is that about half or more of all the tourists are from Russia or countries close to Russia. My observation: the prettiest women you will see here (this time of year?) are often the Russian tourists. I saw stunning 9's and 10's. Of course they are not WG.

The beach road is the continuation of walking street (in south Pattaya) and several miles long. It has many side streets which are stuffed with bars, cafes, restaurants and of course massage parlours. Some are traditional onex, and others offer something extra like HJ or FS. You see the difference by looking at the name. Happy "this or that" massage, as well as the girls in front of it says it all. If they are 40+, you know this is a normal place. Are most of the girls 18-30, well, then you get the picture. On beach road you will find plenty street walkers. For them there is no bar fine ofc. Again, many ladyboys. I would say 20-30%. They will try even harder than the real girls to get your attention. My guess is that starting from some 500 baht, they are willing to do ST. Anyway, since it is not my thing, I'm not interested. The ladies there, start from about 700 Baht for short time. Most will accept 1000 baht, but this is dependent on their age and good or not so good looks. I picked a nice girl (7 on a scale of 1-10) from Cambodia there, for 90 minutes. 1000 baht, which offered good service. Most the WG's here though are too rough around the edges or just plain too old for me. (I mean 40+, sorry ladies)

The other option you have here, on both streets, are the bars and beer gardens. You will find easily some 100 girls in the big ones, spread over several smaller bars, all inside one hall or mall. They will yell at you (come here, take me, sexy man, etc.) when you walk by and try to get you into their bar. If you see anyone you like, you buy yourself and / or the lady a drink. (starts at some 60 baht) Bar fine is around 300 baht. ST is pretty standard around 1000-1200 and long time can be 2000 and up. But all fees are negotiable, as always.

My assessment: the go-go girls are the best. They are also the ones who ask most for their services, but as in most cases, you get what you pay for. 2700 baht for 2 hours of good service (60 Euro, or 90 USD) is not bad at all. If you are willing to take the risk, you can however get lucky and find a streetwalker who will give you a good time, for 800 baht or so. The main risk is that I think these girls do not get regular (or even any) health checks.

Beside the fact that you have written your report as if it was meant for some kind of tourist site (LOL, no offence but here at the ISG a lot of the info you give is known for decades already) there are 2 things that I would like to comment on (only 2, I will be mild).

There are indeed quite a lot of ladyboys to be found on Beach Road but I would say the total percentage is less than 5. If it was 20-30% then this would mean that 2 or 3 out of every 10 working girls you see there would be a lady boy! This is certainly not the case.
