I personally had a few that threatened to cut my throat if I strayed (and being with them meant I was straying in the first place.). The threat is often with a jesture of a finger sliding across her own throat. I didn't take it seriously really and still don't but I have noticed a lot of scars around the neckline of some people. Freaks me out but I guess it happens.

Of course they mean you to be discrete about fucking a hooker. They don't want you to let them tag along for dinner just the 3 of you or anything. But in their minds they know a man can not be with one woman. So choosing the lesser of two evils they would rather you be with temporary women (hookers) than a permanent one (mia noi) who is not them.

What that statement says is.

I like you but do not love you. You are ok and perhaps good husband / long term BF material in that you are ok to be with and can elevate my status to an acceptable level and I will have more money.
