Sao Paulo. The mistakes I made, what I learned and would do differently next time
I flew home from Brazil a few nights ago but before I left Sao Paulo, I was fortunate to spend the last 12 hours in my hotel room with a sexy, beautiful, kind, and affectionate Brazilian lady that I met on my first night. It was the perfect way to end my trip as she walked me out of the hotel, hugged me, and kissed me goodbye as I got into my Uber to leave for the airport. So hard to say goodbye to this lady!
My trip to Brazil was prompted by seeing Scandallo mentioned on another forum on ISG a couple months ago. Rio was on my bucket list of places to visit as a tourist, but Brazil was never a place I thought to visit as a hobbyist. That is until I started reading this forum and learning about Scandallo and what SP offered. For weeks I did my best to research SP and Rio to plan out a good trip. I even sought out the advice on this forum and many of you contributed (much thanks).
Despite doing a fair amount of research, I made a lot of mistakes and found myself adapting my plans during my stay in Brazil. For the purposes of this post, I am going to do my best to share those mistakes as well as things I learned during my trip that might be helpful for first-timers or those considering a trip to SP and Rio.
Before I get into my mistakes, I want to share that I used VeriFLY to upload all of my COVID vaccination and test results. It's free and super easy to use. I had to show the pass on my phone upon my departure and my arrival. I also ordered my Abbott COVID test kits on [URL]eMed.com[/URL] and it was relatively easy to take the COVID test in my hotel room the day prior to my departure. It takes 15 minutes to get the results and then upload the results to VeriFLY.
As for local transportation, I used Uber throughout my trip and while they were relatively quick to pick me up whenever I needed a ride, when I ordered an Uber Black I often got a Toyota Corolla or Nissan Sentra. Uber's requirements for what constitutes Black or Comfort is not the same as in the US. There are a ton of Uber drivers in SP and Rio but most drive compact cars and many did not offer air conditioning. I did find one Uber driver with a nice mid-size car and I used him for an entire afternoon for are are $100. He spoke great English which was refreshing.
One of my first considerations for my trip was my itinerary. I anticipated flying into GRU on a Friday morning, giving myself about 10 days in Brazil, and flying back late on a Sunday evening. I debated how much time I should spend in SP and how much in Rio. I ultimately decided to fly from SP to Rio on Tuesday morning and return to SP on Saturday afternoon. A few weeks before my trip I went ahead a booked flights on Azul Airlines out of CGH and into SDU. This proved to be the biggest mistake of my trip. With Azul, you really do not need to book weeks in advance and they have a terrible cancellation and change policy. I could have easily booked a one-way flight to Rio the day before and paid about the same fare. I should have flown to Rio on Sunday and maybe stayed 1 or 2 days since Sunday is a really quiet day in SP with Scandallo and most of the clinicas being closed. As for Rio, I wanted to see some of the tourist sites, walk on the beach, and see the most popular termas. I could have easily done this in two days. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have booked a one-way flight to Rio for Sunday morning and then booked a one-way return to SP on Tuesday morning. I will post my Rio trip on that Forum, but suffice it to say, once one experiences Scandallo and the clinicas in SP, there is just no comparison to what Rio offers. I know those that love the Rio scene will protest this, but this is simply one person's opinion. For me, my wants and my likes, SP is where I wish that I spent my time.
As for some other mistakes and logistical challenges, I decided to purchase international roaming from my US phone carrier rather than buy a SIM card once I arrived in Brazil. This proved to be a mistake, as I had nothing but problems with phone service in Brazil and also burned through a lot of data very quickly. I am not a tech wiz but I quickly learned that running the Uber app during my trips was burning my int'l roaming data. Also, I found there were just really bad times when I was some place without wifi and could not get a good cell signal to get an Uber or send / receive texts.
Additionally, I found it very difficult to locate ATM machines and when I did find one could not get access to cash from any of my three banks that I use despite calling each one prior to my trip to advise them of my international travel. My first two days in SP, I spent a lot of time trying to get cash and even with the big banks in the area, my ATM cards were being rejected. I have never experienced this in any other international city and it really worried me initially because I am a guy that likes having cash. Go to Bangkok or Zurich and there are banks and ATM machines on every corner that reliably work. This was not the case in Brazil. I recall being in the Uber on my first night in SP and no ATMs would work and my cellphone wasn't working either. As it turns out, the only time I really needed cash was for a lady I met in my hotel lobby one night in Rio.
Lastly, when it comes to hotels, I stayed at the Hyatt in SP for my first few nights and the Sheraton at the end of my trip. The Hyatt was nice, had a very nice club lounge, was a short walk to a nearby mall. I don't know if this is considered girlfriendly, but I was called down to the front desk after I entered the hotel and got to my room with my lady from Scandallo one evening. They wanted me to come downstairs with my lady and register her. They also wanted me to pay a guest fee. I had a grand suite and thought it was ridiculous to pay a guest fee since my reservation was for two people. I was not going to drag my lady downstairs to register and told them so. I did not book a suite at the Sheraton, but my room was really large and I had four ladies in my room over 36 hours and not one of them was stopped and needed to register. They also had a number of restaurant options in the mall attached to the hotel. The only downsides were that I could not find a news channel in English and none of the plugs in the room were USB or compatible for US plugs. I only had one plug adapter and they had none to offer at the front desk. I think I would stay at the Renaissance or splurge and stay at Fasano if I ever go back to SP.
Scandallo. The true reason for visiting Sao Paulo
The main purpose of my trip to SP was to visit the famous Scandallo. This boate absolutely lived up to its reputation and even exceeded my expectations. It is much larger than I anticipated and is a very well-run business.
I never found some of this information reported in this forum so I thought I would share some more details on Scandallo so newbies know what to expect. As you pull up to the large building and before you enter the building you are scanned by security guard for weapons. After you enter the building, you walk up to the registration desk area and provide your identification. The lady enters your information in their computer, and she then hands you card with a number on it. This card serves as your personal charge card for food and beverages. During my visit, consumption was $200 and the cover was $200. At this point you pay nothing and do not even have to pay your cover or put a credit card on file. You have to show your card to security to enter the elevator and go up to the main floor.
Once you get off the elevator there is a small bar area and a really large sofa where some of the ladies lounge and watch customers come off the elevators. If you walk past the bar there are sliding glass doors that go to the big club area. Continue through the club and you enter a sitting area with big sofas. Turn left and you enter a gigantic outdoor area with a very long bar, lots of tables and comfortable areas to sit and relax. The entrance to the huge restaurant is behind the small bar area after you get off the elevator. I noticed that my phone only picked up wifi in the small bar area and in the restaurant. I could not pick up wifi in the club or outside area.
When you select a lady to take upstairs to a room, you go up one level where there are cashiers that take your payment for the lady. When you are done in the room, this is also where you return to pay the room fee. For some reason, you do not pay for the lady and room fee at the same time. This is also where you pay to take the lady out of the club for the evening. Oddly, they do not take AMEX for the ladies or the room charges. Once your visit is complete, you return to the registration desk on the ground level and turn your charge card back in. This is when you pay for your cover and consumption. They do take AMEX here. The lady will give you a ticket that you will present to security that permits you to leave the club and show you have paid.
I found the service at Scandallo to be equal to what one would find at a bar in a 5-star hotel. I would describe the establishment as classy and beautiful inside. The staff is friendly and courteous. There are a lot of places around the world that one could compare Scandallo to, but I really don't think there is any place I have ever been quite like it. They serve the coldest Heineken I have ever had and I found their food to be delicious and well presented. Again, an extremely well-run business.
Now for the ladies. I found most of the ladies to be very attractive and friendly. Most do not speak English, but I found many that did. These ladies are all well-groomed. Hair, makeup and nails all done perfectly as if they were going out to a night club looking their best to meet the man of their dreams. There are women of all shapes and sizes. I saw many thin ladies and some very skinny. I also saw a lot of curvy ladies. Some had large tattoos but many did not or they were covered by their clothing. On the downside, women know how to cover their flaws and you never really know what a lady looks like naked until that dress comes off.
Scandallo. My personal experience
This is my personal Scandallo experience if you are interested.
I went to Scandallo on Friday, Saturday, Monday and again on the next Saturday. I typically arrived between 9-10 pm. I was told by many girls at the club that the best nights are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I was told that 90% of their customers are local men and most are married. It is easier for these married men to come in mid-week than it is to get away from the wives on a Friday or Saturday night. For this reason, more girls work mid-week because this is when their regulars come in. I noticed that the management does not allow the ladies to have their phones on them except for when they go to a room with a client. This is really smart! Imagine what this boate would be like if you walked in and all of the ladies had their heads in their phones?
Since I am a gringo, I really stood out and the girls knew I was not a local especially since I have blue eyes and don't speak Portuguese. I think being an American gringo worked in my favor with some ladies and against me with other ladies because I am so different than their regular customers. I got the impression that many ladies wish they could speak English and I also noticed that others were almost afraid of trying to communicate with me. Many I spoke with talked about their desire to travel to Europe and the United States (most think of Miami, LA and NYC when they think of the USA). There were some that I met that have traveled internationally to work.
I went with four garotas during my four nights that I visited. On my first night I met garota #1 in the restaurant and her face was just gorgeous. She was sitting with a friend in the restaurant and was so beautiful that I stopped at her table to speak with her. I did not waste time since I was tired from traveling, so after a little small talk quickly asked her to go to a room. Despite there being some communication challenges, we had remarkable chemistry. I met garota #2 in the outdoor lounge area later in the evening. She was very thin. Almost skinny like a European model with a beautiful tan body. The intimacy with garota #2 was off the charts even though I was tired and didn't have a lot of give after being with garota #1.
On Saturday evening, I sat with garota #1 for about an hour chatting and asked her to come back to my hotel for the evening. She seemed to want to socialize and speak to her other clients and didn't really commit. I walked the club and met garota #3 at the bar in the outdoor area. She was blonde and appeared to have a remarkable body. Somewhat thin but with big boobs. At first she was very uncomfortable about speaking with me, but once I bought her a drink and showed her we could communicate through Google Translate, she relaxed. We were discussing going up to a room when I saw garota #2 enter the outdoor area. She was wearing very classy cotton blue pants and a white top. She looked gorgeous! I made up an excuse and ditched garota #3 and immediately took garota #2 upstairs. What started off as hot and passionate soon fizzled when she began to complain that the sex was hurting her. Now realistically speaking, given how thin she was, it was reasonable to conclude that I could have been causing discomfort, but something told me that she went home with someone on Friday night and was sore. Regardless, she finished me BBBJCIM but I was still disappointed and she knew that she disappointed me.
Monday evening was unique given how few customers there were and yet there were a ton of girls. I would say there were 10-15 girls for every customer. I did not see garota #1 or #2 but I did see #3 and she was sitting with a customer. She looked amazing. And yes, I often find a lady often looks more desirable to me when she is with another man. I tried unsuccessfully to get her attention, but she completely ignored me. I then noticed that she left the table and went to the restroom. I casually approached her as she was walking back to her table and she cussed me out in Portuguese. I have no idea what she said, but I could tell she remembered me ditching her on Saturday evening. I quickly moved on and found garota #4. Another beautiful lady that was thin and dressed very sexy. We quickly went up to a room and she performed well enough that I invited her to my hotel for the evening. We were out the door and in an Uber in 15 minutes. Garota #4 became incredibly affectionate in the Uber and back at the hotel. She provided complete GFE that evening and we discussed her coming to Rio but I thought it was foolish to bring sand to the beach. She messaged me the entire time I was in Rio and we discussed getting together when I returned on Saturday. Sadly, I made other plans and did not see her again. I should have brought her to Rio!
While I was in Rio, garota #1 and I messaged each other every day and discussed seeing each other on Saturday and Sunday. We made plans for dinner on Saturday evening but she wasn't replying to my messages on Saturday afternoon. After Twitter girl #2 left my hotel, I showered and headed to Scandallo. I immediately saw garota #1 in the restaurant visiting with one of her friends. She made some excuse about going to lunch with a client and then going to the club after her lunch. I told her that I wanted her to come back to my hotel that night and she indicated that she had many clients in the club that wanted to talk to her and she went off kind of like she did on Saturday night. This is when I ran into garota #3 and tried to approach her. She was much more receptive to speaking with me, but I could tell she was still pissed about the previous Saturday night. Even though I really wanted to take garota #1 back to my hotel and spend all day with her on Sunday, garota #3 gave me a number for pernoite that I wasn't going to pass up. Just as luck would have it, as I was closing out my bill for the evening and garota #3 was standing by my side at the reception desk, I noticed garota #1 sitting on a sofa right behind me and I could tell that she was pissed.
Unlike garota #4 who was super affectionate once I paid her pernoite, garota #3 was a cold btch the entire way to the hotel. Back in the room she got right down to business. As she came out of the bathroom naked, I quickly noticed that she had a very badly botched boob job and lots of scars. I also thought it was odd that she wanted to have sex with her panties still on and just move them aside. Given that I am a little like Jerry Seinfeld and can get easily distracted by a woman's flaws (like nasty feet), the site of this garota's botched boobs distracted me enough that it kept me from getting hard for her. Granted, I had sex twice several hours before. Since she was such a btch in the first place, I politely asked her to leave even though we had originally agreed that she would stay til 8:00 am. I know this might sound crazy to some, but I would just assume throw away that money than spend an entire night with a btch that can't turn me on. I really should have done an hour with her at Scandallo before inviting her to my hotel.
After garota #3 left my room, I checked my phone and noticed that garota #1 had been blowing up my phone with messages. She was pissed that I left the club with garota #3 and it turns out that they didn't like each other. She let me have it for leaving with another garota and claimed that she had planned on leaving with me. At 6 am on Sunday morning I got a message from garota #1 that she was in my lobby and to come down to get her. She was happy to see that garota #3 was not in my room and to learn that I asked her to leave because I thought she was a btch She still gave me a lot of shit for ever taking the other garota, but then informed me that she did not come to my room to argue and wanted to be with me until I left later that evening. We spent the next 12 hours in bed together. This lady ranks at the top of my list as one of the most affectionate women I have ever met. It was an amazing way to end my trip to Brazil and left me wanting to see her again for more.
Sao Paulo. The girls on Twitter
I researched and identified about 7-8 ladies that I found on Twitter and other web sites that looked great and two of which I was really determined to meet. I had made contact with many of them prior to my flight to SP to get their hourly rates, etc. Two weeks before my trip one of the Twitter ladies messaged me that she was taking a long vacation and would not be seeing clients for two months. Another Twitter lady messaged me that she was going to remain in Europe working and would not be returning during my time in SP. Given that Scandallo and most of the clinicas are closed on Sunday, I tried to schedule appointments with some of the Twitter girls on Sunday for later that night but completely struck out. Most wanted to schedule on Monday. Since I already made plans for Monday to go to Lotus Lounge at 11:30, I decided to schedule 2 Twitter girls for the afternoon and early evening. Unfortunately, I had to cancel on both girls because of my decision to indulge in 4-5 hours of lustful fun at the Taj Mahal.
Upon my return from Rio, I scheduled two appointments with two separate Twitter ladies on Saturday afternoon. The first arrived on time and her pictures were somewhat accurate but were definitely filtered because she looked a little older in person. She had a deep raspy voice, smelled like a French hooker and was definitely a smoker. My main turnoff was that she had these terribly dried callused feet. Given my phobia of nasty feet and that she was already in my hotel room, I got right down to business, paid her and thanked her. Twitter girl #2 arrived about three hours later. Her online photos looked so amazing that I considered keeping her all night. I even cancelled my plans with one of the Taj Mahal girls that offered to see me on Saturday evening. When I met Twitter girl #2 in the lobby, she was probably 4'10" and as bow legged as Bucky Dent (anyone remember the Yankee shortstop?) She was an attractive lady but was not the thin spinner that I was expecting. In this case, her online photos did represent her body frame. She had very hairy, short, bowed legs. She was not what I was expecting but once again, she was already in my room, so we got to business, and she was politely paid and left my hotel. Both ladies were probably each in my room for 20 minutes. So disappointed!
I know ladies are very creative in using filters and often photoshop their images, but girl #2 was a huge disappointment. Fortunately, each girl was only about R500 are which is less than $100 USD so it was not like I spent a lot of money. I think that I would still pursue some of the girls I found on Twitter had I stayed longer in SP, but I think I would ask for unedited photos and not commit to more than one hour for the first visit.
Sao Paulo. My Closing Thoughts
Like many of you, I have traveled all over the world and have had some remarkable experiences. When it comes to this trip, I absolutely fell in love with the beauty and passion of Brazilian women. I think Scandallo is an amazing place, but I actually prefer going to a place like Globe in Zurich more because I'm surrounded by sexy women parading around the club naked. Admittely, I just love being around lots of naked women! I went with 4 garotas at Scandallo because they looked beautiful in what they were wearing but 3 of the four were very thin and had no boobs. What's wrong with being thin and having big boobs? The one garota I was with that was thin with big boobs had a botched boob job which I didn't uncover until she was paid and in my hotel room. I can only imagine how amazing Scandallo would be if the ladies were all wearing sexy lingerie or something that showed more of their bodies. Don't get me wrong, I would absolutely recommend to anyone that they go and experience Scandallo, but it is hard to say if I will be returning any time in the near future given the long flight. I will acknowledge that had I not gone to Rio during my trip, I likely would have been able to spend more time with the Scandallo ladies and would probably feel more drawn to go back. Garota #1 sure did tug on my heart over those last 12 hours.
Moscow had been on my bucket list prior to COVID but I certainly won't be going there due to the war in Ukraine, so a trip to the Philippines is probably next for me as well as return trips to Bangkok and Zurich. Also, with Canada dropping their pre-departure COVID testing as of April 1st, I see myself visiting Toronto for long weekend trips. I personally think Toronto is one of the best cities in the world for hobbyists to visit especially for Americans.
