Don't let what someone else is doing dictate what you are doing. Chicas know what the going prices are. The only thing she recognizes when someone offers to pay her that much is that she's dealing with an uninformed newbie or an extreme sucker. This "prices are going up" discussion has been going on every since I have been a member of this forum ('07) , and you can find posts on the same topic earlier than that. Nothing has changed. In the end money is money and they will take it. I have talked to guys that have paid 3500 for the same chica I only paid 2000 earlier in the day or week. If you run into a chica asking for outlier prices and she holds firm at that price, assume that she would be a terrible session to begin with and move on to the next chica.

Keep in mind though: not every chica plays by these "going rate" rules. Just as you might run into a chica in San Jose at the Del Rey who won't move off of her barstool for less than $200, you will have some chicas in Sosua who may be super-part-timing-it (tricking is not their only source of income) and they may come to Sosua with the intentions of getting no less than 4 or 5k for a session. And if she's fine enough, there will be someone in Sosua that will pay her what she is asking for.

The funny thing is, even when I spoke very little Spanish everyone in the DR always asks me if I am Dominican ("tu eres Dominicano?"). I even get asked this just chatting with chicas on Dominican Cupid. Last time I was there I only spoke to the chicas in Spanish, which is probably why I never was quoted any outrageous prices.

R. where round about 40% of the population are considered poor according to listin diario (one of the biggest newspapers) it is easy to get girls anywhere, and believe or not people are getting killed for motorcycles and scooters in the entire country.

I have a girl friend who lives there. The residents live in fear of being robbed. I did not feel threaten in any of my travels there however I was told by locals to be careful. This is a common theme in the DR. I stayed at my chicas house and hung with the whole family. There are dance places and strip bars for entertainment. I tried to blend in and did not go tourist locations. I used the local gua guas and moto coches. I did not get to hunt much because I had a lady. There were no gathering points that were obvious. The women were friendly and open. When they learned I was American they were curious. I find that Dominican women are frustrated with Dominican men or so they tell me.
