Just got back from CTG last night. Centro is no longer fenced in. There is a lot of cops that keep telling sellers and girls to keep moving. They can no longer just stand in one spot.
I was there August 14-28. It was the same way, but unlike my last trip (a year ago), I had a great time. I did get a little more adventurous and avoided the clock tower (and El Centro) for the most part, but when I was there, women didn't approach me like in the past. This was great because I would rather approach someone I like than have random desperate women try to talk to me. I Quickly found that drinks were much, much cheaper elsewhere and that even at my old age, women were open to talking to me and hanging out. My Spanish sucks. Well, it's not terrible, but I had a horrible time understanding anyone that spoke to me (probably their accent and word choice). Went to a few massage places (avoid "Latinos Massage" or something like that). The massage places were cheap and I got HEs at all of them (like $50 total). Just google men's massage and you'll find them. There are 4 that I tried. I even went to someone's incall in a bad neighborhood.
I think I was at Dolce. They wanted me to buy a bottle for $100 to sit down. I looked around and saw dozens of women sitting without even a drink in their hand. But if I wanted to sit, I needed to pay $100. I at least had bought a drink. So, that was the one and only time I went there.
I'll be there again in a week or so. I generally stay at a guest friendly AirBnb about a mile walk from El Centro.

First of all, thanks to all who spent time to reply. Apologies if I ack and thank after a long time.
I will be in CTG in 3 weeks, after one week in Medellin for work. I will have not much time for fun in Medellin, except exploring the Centro at night. I hope that 10 years of absence did not change it too much, and did not make me naif enough with aging to get in trouble for my fault.
I also thank for all advices, but it seems that some did not remember that I have been playing in CTG for almost 20 years already. My first time was around 2006, when the Wall at night was the border between the safe Tower and the wild lonely space with gangs of ladrones outside. Even most of the walled city at night was too lonely to be safe.
To be sure about the year, I searched for my first report in this thread and I found this:
http://www.internationalsexguide.nl/forum/showthread.php?582-Cartagena-Reports&p=537700&viewfull=1#post537700
What a nostalgy! Reading this after so many years makes me smile about how naively enthusiast I was. I especially laughed when I read "I am handsome". Embarrassing.
If we leave security apart, as a matter of fact CTG is NOT the dream place anymore for cheap and wild girls it was used to be, but this holds at least since before COVID. Now, it's another world.
You will have no problems if you are discreet and respectful.
That are the wisest words I read in many pages. It should be pinned on top of the thread.
Just got back from CTG last night. Centro is no longer fenced in. There is a lot of cops that keep telling sellers and girls to keep moving. I also hope the barbarians from US and stupid Youtubers will be discouraged enough to make noise and nonsense here.
Forget about the clock tower or street walkers in tourist areas. The mayor is set on getting rid of that, and he has the support of the citizens.
Well, I hope you are wrong. At least, you were wrong when I visited CTG last time, which was last February. There was the cattle fence, police doing their best to push people (any people, girls, men, casual tourists) away from the square playing the ear-breaking siren every 10 minutes after midnight, but the Centro was full of girls roaming around. A lot of girls. Just not standing in the square, but walking the streets around.
My impressions from last February:

We'll see.
You are being watched and do not want to be seen bringing in multiple hookers to an upscale hotel or airBNB. If you want to do see multiple women, I would look at taking women to the abundant and cheap sex hotels. Hope that helps.
As above, I have beeing playing here for nearly 20 years I rent an apartment. Porteros are my best support and resource. Thank you anyway for caring.
I was there a few weeks ago, and yeah, the groups of women who you see around who are walking who might be hookers are still out. I probably saw a dozen women like this out. They do not have on the typical hooker decor I saw years ago. I guess the goal now is to blend in better and look like you are headed to a restaurant or club.
It's crazy how all these "YouTubers" who just started traveling to these same exact countries all of a sudden became experts on traveling and posting travel guides.
These channels are a bunch of nonsense where they constantly repeat the same BS over and over and turns into a yelling match where some believe the louder they yell the more right their argument becomes and it drown out any valid point they are trying to make.
Fact is the majority of those people in the travel space still act like they are in high school.
I rather watch at LIFEOFUNCJAE who not only lives in Cartagena but gives day to day advice on his actual experiences a foreigner trying to progress in Colombia from dating to buying property to investing. Well worth my personal attention over a questionable stripclub DJ form Miami. To each his own.
They have actually been traveling for years. They had an original channel that was at 20 K subs but got banned on youtube for posting those free travel guides on youtube. They have now moved them to patreon, however their Cartagena & Medellin breakdowns are legendary and had millions of views a few years back. They are originally what I watched to helped me travel to CTG safely for the first time. In their Patreon they actually showed that they went down to CTG a few weeks ago and Unc Jae posted a picture with them on his youtube so I guess they are friends.

As far as I am concerned the main purpose of a website and forum called "International Sex Guide" would be to provide information to men on how to deal with prostitutes and not where to purchase property, buy farms, and raise cattle.
Anyway, to those of you who are interested you can check Mentuition out on YouTube. Good show and good information. This is coming from an old fart that has been traveling for over 30 years. The fact is many men are getting robbed, drugged, or killed in Colombia and this type of content NEEDS to exist or more men won't make it back home. We just had someone die last week in Poblado in Medellin due to a drugging from a sex worker.
If you are not interested then you can simply move along.

Recommend place of stay
Hey guys,
I'm going to Cartagena in January for two weeks. I need to start booking soon but what hotels / air bnb's would you recommend for a two week stay that's cost friendly and near the action?

No one wants to talk about what happens in Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, NYC, LA, and DC. Club owner just got drugged and robbed recently in Atlanta from women. People are getting set up on the dating app right here at home but it's not talked about much due to other more eye catching news that generates clicks.
Ok humor me. "as an old fart that have been traveling for 30 years" what information "when dealing with prostitutes" have you specifically learned from their channel that you didn't already know from your personal experience or from second hand experience through friends and family?

If you are traveling to CTG for your first time, the Walled City or Boca Grande would be best if you want to be close to the action. The Walled City will have a lot of street walkers once the sun goes down and night clubs. You can also check out Club Omnia or Club Cattleya (the new Dolce Vita) in the Walled City.
If you stay in Boca Grande I would suggest hitting up Playa Hollywood (Hollywood Beach) during the day and hitting the streets of Boca Grande at night. There are usually working women walking around everywhere.
AirBnB is typically better but you need to make sure the place is guest friendly which is harder and harder to find nowadays. Check your DMs and I will send you some places that are good to stay at.

My bad
Vague questions gets you vague answers.
RTFF lots of changes happens to that area.
Have you already made yourself familiar with Titan24?
What is cost friendly to you?
Does location matter? Hot water? Security? A pool? What action are you looking for? Clubs? Girls? Drugs?
My bad.
I'll be heading over there in early January. Looking to be there for 2 weeks.
I'm looking for a cost effective place, whether a Air BNB or hotel that's guest friendly, close to the Clock Tower, and has security.

Dolce Vida reopen
My guy in Cartagena tells me that Dolce has reopened two blocks away from where it use to be. Anyone else can confirm this?
