I use to live in Budapest as an English teacher a few years back and I visit the city every year to see old friends. While I cannot really give you any advice on internet sites (I have ex-girlfriends in the city that I spend time with) I can give you advice on good restaurants / cafes and what not. On the Pest side of the city, anyway. One word of adive. Be very weary of strip joints and girls who approach you on Vaci utca who ask you to accompany them to a cafe they select. Both are a serious scams.
