I have a few friends coming to HK from the 7th to the 10th Feb. I understand that's not the very best time to visit HK, but this was a good match for all of them. This is the first time I am in HK during Chinese New Year and I am getting a little scared that everything is closed. To cut it short, any idea if the likes of Fenwick and Neptune are going to be open during those days? Or at least onfriday/saturday? What abt the 141?
Any idea about non chinese restaurant and normal bars during those days?
I think my friends would kill me if everything is shut down!

On Feb 29 and March 1 my brother and his friend will be in HK, staying in Kowloon hotel. That is a Friday and Saturday. My brother has been in HK twice and knows the general area of Kowloon but not HK Central. They want to go bar hopping and I gave them three bars to go to: Hari's, JJ's in Hyatt and Sticky Fingers(do not know if he can find SF) It will be the other man's FIRST night in Asia.
I told them to go to Macau on Saturday for 18 Sauna and my brother knows about the 141 situation.
Are there any other tips to give him? Tsieh tsieh.
BTW I thank you guys for mentioning the three bars in your posts. I would not about them but for ISG.

This was a trick to get an extension. A few years ago, the papasan/mamasan actually used to discourage this behaviour. However, with the decrease in business volume, I guess it is now tolearted. A really good deal of $440 become $620. Of course, that all depended on the girl and whether you had a really goood time or not. If the service was poor, then beware that the girl was just spending a long time on the prliminaries to get the extra $180 for the extension.
Don't worry, most if not all of the bars and businesses in Hong Kong maintain normal operating hours during the Lunar New Year. The New Year's eve is a traditional 'stay at home with family day' for the locals. Some shops and restuarants may close early on that day. Most remain open. Fenwicks and Neptunes will definitely be open.

i landed in hong kong after 11pm on monday night. rushed through immigration, changed some money, ran to the train, and finally ended up in my hotel on the kowloon side around 12:30. so now here i am, wide awake and horny.
i figured my options were to call for a hotel reservation on 141, walk over to either sticky fingers or the holiday inn, or bite the bullet and take a cab to fenwicks in wanchai. i did call 141 and spoke to a guy who spoke english, but the terms did not thrill me and it would only be for 45 minutes and he was quoting a lot for an overnight. my past experiences at sticky fingers or holiday inn were never great, so fenwicks won.
got there around 1:15am and the place had a good crowd. so i did my usual stroll around the place to see what might interest me. i had one vietnamese girl try to latch on to me, but it just didn't feel right. and then i started talking to a really nice looking girl from laos. she wanted 1500 for st. since it was almost 2am by then, i countered with 1000 until morning since i was over on the kowloon side. she didn't counter, but gave me a kiss on the cheek and moved off.
so i strolled around some more looking. my feeling is that when a good one comes along you will know it. and sure enough, she came along. i am just standing there minding my own business and suddenly this nice looking girl comes up to me, wraps her arms around me, and says she wants to fuck me tonight- a very aggressive approach.

JJ's is at the Hong Kong side Grand Hyatt, at wanchai North - and if they can make it to Hong Kong side, then they can manage to go to Lockhart Road, wanchai (where most P4P action for Foreigners are to be found) nearby or to Lan Kwai Fong in Central district where its more of a pick up scene - but of course still interspersed with some ladies of the night prowling around. A sort of similar but toned down area in Kowloon that is "inspired" by Lan Kwai Fong is the Knutsford Terrace area in Tsim Sha Tsui parrallel to Kimberley Road cross of Observatory road. BTW - kimberley rd is where Champagne Court A and B - where there are a lot of 1441's are.

Fenwicks is a bar on Lockhard Street in Wanchai. It is filled with lots of freelance girls. Basically it is shooting ducks in a barrel. Impossible to miss as long as you have money.
The lady in question was from the Philippines and she was about as horny as they come. I am still recovering, but I will probably see her again on Thursday night. I am feeling lazy tonight and also not very horny, so I may just pop into Sticky Fingers for a look.
