Probably cheaper and less of a headache to just use uber than rent a car and pay for gas and find parking and worry about it getting carjacked.

Drugs- I don't think they would do it in front of you or let you know they do it unless your close to them. It's common but invisible. I have seen it in my time in Moscow with some of the working girls doing some drugs. Nothing hardcore though. I've browsed this forum for some time, there's quite a bit of info, but some details are evading me.

For example, when people are talking about clinicas and prices, I assume the price is for the service, right?

I once went into a massage place in Thailand and you really had to pay for massage first and then negotiate later in the room with the girl for anything else. I wasn't sure how much she was going to ask, and what she'd be willing to do. Is this something that could be negotiated in advance here or one has to take a gamble? How does the process work? I haven't stumbled upon a description of it yet.

I only speak / understand a few words of Portuguese, that's probably going to be a challenge as well, which is why I trying to get these details in advance.

Also, what are typically best times / days to go to clinicas? It likely varies, but it's probably not a night thing like boates?

In Thailand, you pick a girl from a presentation of all girls in a line up and pay after the selection before the service. Usually there will be massage. In SP, girl comes to greet you one at a time. You can ask some simple question here or later. You pay after the session. The price is all inclusive. You may not get massage at all because that is not a requirement for girls to work there.

Afternoon is the better time to visit clinicas. It opens early but the selection will be slim.

I replied to your post where you said people go to Brazil to save money. If I wanted save money, I would fly to Germany or Spain and pay EUR200 or EUR350 respectively, instead of going to Brazil and paying EUR2700. That's all, YMMV. Unfortunately I have to pay all my own tickets.

But clearly some BMs, do rent cars and drive in Sampa (or Rio?) and may see things a little differently and have some insights or shared benefits, as to why they prefer to rent / drive in Sampa.

Many girls I've been with told me that sometimes they'll go to parties with some guys and drugs are offered and to fit in they'll do it too.

Weed is obviously used but cocaine and Adderall are very common. I remember one girl showing her friends private IG story and everyday she would show her new lines.
