Before I went there I googled 'Hokkaido kuala lumpur' and the directions to 'Hokkaido Seafood Restaurant' came up. Then I remembered it used to be called 'sky river', so searched for that instead.

The "Hokkaido" sign is to the left of the entrance isn't it? And the entrance has two lamps on either side of the door? Didn't seem like there was anyone inside. Pressed the bell, there was no answer.

By that time it was already 2.30 am, thought of calling a pimp as advertised on the Internet but not to sure if it was safe. So we called it a night since it was a long day working anyway.

Ok guys, I did RTFF. I'm currently in my SE ASIA trip starting Pattaya and now in Phnom Penh. I had a last minute change of plans and would like to visit KL tomorrow (Tuesday) for 1 night before flying off elsewhere. In reading the more recent reports and ROD for KL, could anyone provide clarification and updates on the following:

1. Status in Beach Club? Still a possible crackdown with fewer girls? More girls in the lower "cafe" part instead of the more "bar" part? Still acceptable of 400 for ST?

2. Any updates on Thai Club as to type of girls and prices? Also, TC and BC walking distance to avoid taxi mafia?

3. Any updates on Zion, Gypsy, others?

4. A long time ago, in RTFF I saw detailed directions to the "ACE complex" where if I recall, there is some sort of food court with girls available for pickup. Although, not really my scene, I am curious about this and depending on how much time I have to kill after I get into KL, I may consider going. Anybody have any updates on this scene and how best to get to this location and distance by taxi from the BC or TC area where I most likely will be staying?

I prefer freelancers in bars, clubs, discos and not into spas, massages, or ordering incall.

Reckon I should post my experience so other posters don't think yours is a one off. First time I went there on Wednesday 03 April at about 9:30 pm, Papasan (the shorter chinese guy) said they had no girls. Funny thing was I had called earlier and the receptionist didn't warn me. So, next day I phoned and asked specifically, if there were girls. Yes, was the answer. Headed there about 9:30 pm. There were hardly any customers (I reckon the previous day they may have had an entourage of Chinese clientele). I was the only customer using hot tub (they have four) and the steam room.

After steam room, led in to room where the girls were called. From a choice of 4 girls (Indo, Thai, 2 x Viet), I chose a Viet girl. After choosing, the girl leads you by hand to room, where she showers and washes me, especially downstairs. Back in the room, I asked for a little massage. Even though she doesn't do massage (other girls also don't) she agrees. Afterwards, she gave CB, leading to BBBJ, which was amazing. Then we had FJ in 3 positions. In the room, it turns out there is no shower. Instead there is a water bucket filled with water. She pours water on my nipples and Johny. Washed with water cup. It was huge turn off, as the water was cold and it didn't do anything to get me in the mood.

Anyway, back in the room, she gives me CB, BBBJ (which was good), then gets on top and rides. One thing I notice at this point is the girl from 1st time (Ruby) and this girl (also called Ruby. Many Viet girls choose this name I reckon. Translating Vietnamese name to English it becomes Ruby. Vietnamese name very hard to pronounce) both followed the same process. Wash, CB, BBBJ, FJ. Almost 90% of girls are import. So if you in Thailand, you better off getting better bang for your bucks.

Beach Club was dead when I was in there, and according to a few friends who live there it has been dead for a while. One said there was a big fight after Vietnam beat Malaysia in the Asia Cup. No idea how true this is. May be a crack down, or somebody is trying to put it out of business. Nobody in bottom bar, all inside. Some nice lookers, but lack of girls compared to volume of men meant they were asking for silly money.

Changkat is probably a good place to start and you could always transition down to the BC if you don; t find anything you like. More flavour there. Gypsy and surrounding bars had lots of Viet. There were a number of Africans walking around the street, not as many as later in the week, but still some. A few filipina's sittign in the bar beside Loco. All girls had a few years on them.

I'm actually now totally off KL, but unfortunately have to go there on business. Not a big fan of Viet, no interest in Afircan, and the lack of filipnas bascially cuts my options.

Some negotiable for overnight. To be clear this is not the usual nice bar with pickup. Its a traditional (messy some says) food court, with a lot of PRC and Viet FLs plying their trade. You go there, get a table with a cup of tea, eye the goods, make eye contact, nego the price, and go up to their room.

Been a while since I've been to KL. Agree that the girls are mostly in the older range on Changkat. There were a few younger girls in the back bar in Gypsy. Alot of the African girls walking around on Thursday were "young" in age, and there was a big African dude (pimp) walking around checking on the wherabouts of his girls. The place is defintely different from my last visit mid last year, and is worrisome. First the Filipinas dissappeared from BC, now the numbers are way down, next the For Sale sign will be on the front door. It's not as if there is a squeeze for prime land to build more high rises, the site of the old BC is still empty.

Briefly entered Zion and came out. Zion is too smokey. Zion is one of the places where Beach club girls used to visit after it closes.
