Last Saturday night a gal was grinding on a guy sitting on a front couch and he started making it rain all over the floor -a large area. Over $200 - other employees made sure all money was saved for that gal.
I think those guys want to show appreciation and a little bit of showing off too. All in good spirit.
In some cases they may be slightly drink too.
But, I think it is 100% legit. Not house money.
I am grateful for those guys who make it rain. Since I want HK gals and employees to do well.
The more other guys spend in the club the less pressure there is on others to spend. So I am very happy about all those generous guys who make it rain. So, please go ahead tip tip tip the gals and waiters.
One guy I always see on weekends seems to tip every girl that passes by. Even if the girls are not contacting him in any way as they go by. I love his generosity. He is a nice guy too. I always chat with him.

So, when I tip I make sure I get more that just a quick feel.
I generally feel their ass first before having a dollar out, then then I reach for my money tip on their boobs. And that process takes a few seconds and I get to feel of their boobs too. And I am talking that whole time so it is not awkward as I am feeling them up.
I do this when I find an attractive gal dancing on a stage for few minutes first, or when an attractive gal approaches me.
$1 can go a long way in HK.

I never thought it was house money. Because nothing felt fishy about it. It looks spontaneous and always different guys raining money.

AFAIK the propina rains were not HK's money. The DJ is always pleading, "Tip the ladies, tip the ladies."
I was sitting on the balcony with a few ISG bros who exchanged for 4 bricks of $1. They would sit there watching the strip show and the girls below all night, occasionally raining $20 or so down to the stage. Those 4 bricks would be good for 20 rains and last them all night. These guys are cool, worldly and want to remain unknown. I don't think they wanted to show off or be recognized for their generosity. They are just loaded with too much money and want to help the girls for their work. Some guys feel good giving, not taking.
But the girls can see who the big spenders are on the rail. So everything is quoted higher for guys in that area, ST, LT, extras ect. One girl wanted $800 TLN, another started with $150ST. These generous guys could create far more good wills in the club if they just walk around and give $5-$10 into the boobs for each hot girls they meet, not the fat ugly ones. Strippers get 1,000 pesos paid by HK plus tips. A lot of new girls are not making any. I have seen a few go home late at night with nothing and looked worried / depressed. If you want the club to be fun, fresh, lively, please spread out your generosity to a lot of the new girls worth having in HK. So they will come back and play with us. That's what I do all the time, but I don't always carry 4 bricks of greens hehe.
A chubby old Mexican usually order a bottle and about 10 plates of snacks, potato chips ect spread out on a table near the main stage. He would hang around talking to 2 girls then rain 100 green bills on them, stepping on them on the floor like trash all night. Nobody touches his bottles or snacks; they are there just for show. The girls may be hungry and like to munch on snacks but have dignity and not even one would come near, badge in his party and take any snacks. It's his unique show how he enjoys his party.
A source of rains can also be from friends and families of new strippers, who give boosts to start their career. These people would throw money on their strippers, sometimes really ugly and fat hehe, and encourage them on a good stripping careers. If you want to see Mexican strippers' booster fan clubs in action, go to the annual Stripper of The Year Contest. Rowdy booster fans would be cheering their strippers all night.
Strippers sometimes arrange for their friends to prime the tipping rains with their own money. But about 20% tips collected are expected to be shared with stage handlers. Sometimes it's sad to see strippers who collect only a few dollars for their routine and give all to the handlers.
Unlike HK, strippers in Adelitas and Chicago rarely make any tips. The poor girls would strip all night to no one watching. I usually give each a propina, since they perform for us. I suggest the bros with bricks of green spread out that money to girls in other bars to encourage them to come to work and to increase competition between bars, which should benefit everyone, mongers, girls, bars' owners and workers.

HK Strippers have dignity and would never stoop to pick up tips, spreading legs and shoving crotches for guys to insert tips in the cracks is OK, but never stoop to pick up tip. That is not a classy job and is left for the stage handlers who kick the bills around with their club feet. Last few weeks there were so much money rained on the stage they had to use brooms to pick up.
The handlers collect and count the tips, then hand them to the strippers who usually tip the handlers 20% from the total takes. Everyone is on an incentive plan in HK. Like most third world countries, people's official pays are usually small. They make far more informally, tips, grafts, bribes, including government officials, workers, judges, professionals, doctors, nurses, policias, firemen, teachers. Try to do a little business in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, China, Russia, Venezuela ect. You will find out how the rest of the world makes money in the shades outside of the USA.
