I looked at this also, with the same result, so you are not missing anything. But there is a contact form http://maliohotel.com/contact-us/ so you could try that, and post the outcome on here.
Very strange. I just try to send them a message via contact form but I got the "There was an error trying to send your message. Try again later. " Then I sent them an email but got the "Your message wasn't delivered to info@maliohotel.com because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail. " So Classic will be.
But I will try Malio at least once. I read a lot of positive reviews on ISG and it seems like a place that must be visited while in Jakarta. But I did not find exact info about the price options, so can someone tell what future visitors can expect to pay about the girl plus the room? Also is there any spa packages that includes FS combined with the typical spa extras and what are the prices if there is that kind of entertainment? And yes, I guess that someone already wrote something about that but honestly I read more than 70 pages (and keep reading) and did not find specific price options. So please don't be rude answering "read the forum" kind of things, Jakarta forum is like 10 times the size of Tolstoy's War & Peace.

BurgerLand is changing
On a side note, us Yankees call them burgers. I've never said I'm going to McD to get a "sandwich".
I was asked in Seattle McD whether I just wanted sandwich or combo, after ordering a double quarter pounder.

Always bet on Malio

If not for Malio my whole Jakarta trip would have been a utter dud. Its a bit pricey compared to other establishments but worth it.
Thanks to all of you about the info and the advices, much appreciated. After reading the last 50 pages and paying special attention to your advices, I decide to expand the 3-day trip to 5 day and then to go to Bali. The idea was 2-3 days in Jakarta and 15 in Bali combining local girls, beautiful beaches and trip to all the interesting tourist places in Bali.
But I think 2-3 days in Jakarta will not be enough, so it will be 4 days mainly pussy party exploring most of the places that you told me about then more relaxed and diverse Bali trip. I just booked the tickets so now I know exact dates. It remains to book the hotel. I'm choosing between the Classic and Malio hotels. Strangely I can not find Malio hotel on booking / agoda / hotels, and at the maliohotel.com can not find a way to book a room, only brief room info and contact us section. Did I missed something or the only way to book a room is on site?
You can't book in advance for Malio, but they say always have a room for check in. IfFnot there plenty hotels in same area but pretty sure you get room on arrival.
As for packages with spa, don't think they do it. Just room only deal with access to everything. Ss for room don't expect anything fancy, its like a 3 star hotel standard room.
As for prices Malio, maybe someone here can enlighten on current pricing.
If I remember correctly:
Lounge in front building with dancing girls starts from 2 m up wards for one hour. Here get East EU ladies, no idea price.
Then Mbar opposite is small bar with cheaper girls, some cute some not, I think they were under One million?
Final place I know is the second building at back, with dancing states, here about 5 groups of ladies with each group taking up one couch section consisting of 20 or so girls. They start from 1 m up to 2 m (I think).
I don't know anything about spa or massage.
Somebody else here can add I am sure.
I was asked in Seattle McD whether I just wanted sandwich or combo, after ordering a double quarter pounder.
Interesting. Must be how they market it now. I've literally NEVER referred to a hamburger as a sandwich in my life. They have a fish filet sandwich and a chicken sandwich, but my entire life we have only called the hamburgers - "burgers" or "hamburgers". If someone asked me if I wanted a sandwich then brought me a hamburger, I would think they were nuts. I think I'm done with McD if they are calling burgers sandwiches now. LOL.

I was thinking the bus for immersing myself into the local cultures.
Immerse yourself into the local cultures? During the short stops?
The credo of the intercity bus drivers in Indonesia: berani mati (I don't fear the reaper) combined with the use of drugs they need for the long hauls they make without changing, should make you think twice.
BTW I hope you are not taller than 165 cm, otherwise you will have problems stowing away your legs!

On another note, I'm curious to see if Malioboro hotel is an actual hotel with rooms you can stay in. I had always thought all rooms in that hotel were reserved for sex with the prostitutes they have in the place. I've never seen anyone checking in or out of that place with luggage.
Similar to the hotels Metropole (Pintu Besar Selatan) and Paripurna (Hayam Wuruk) in the old days. LOL.

Mega Ayu
For anyone who has been to KI, you will know the prices sit in the mid-high 300's.
You will also have noticed all bars (except Starmoon) play that annoying Kota dance music. Which incidentally cannot be fully appreciated without some help from the apotik, but that generally kills the hardon big time. Anyway I digress, they all feel the same and have the same ambience. Well that's because they are all owned by the same guy, except Starmoon.
So you get dodgy security, pushy mamasans, deafening music, and hit and miss experience.
Well, old boss man has decided to offer a premium service from the regular service mentioned above. With the soft opening TODAY of Mega Ayu. Its located in the first alley of KI and has a similar layout inside to the others. With less cigarette stains on the vinyl lounges. However the girls are the cream of the crop chosen from of all the bars there. And their price is at a whopping 705 rph.
I was privileged enough to view the merch on a pre-opening to the soft opening (how can there be a soft soft opening anyway? And can vouch they all are very cute and look like they haven't sucked on a lemon. As if often the case with the other bars.
So gents, if you feel like an upmarket experience, in a lowmarket area. Give it a try.
Is it safe for a solo 51 yo white guy to bus it to Bali? Sure I could fly, but I can't see much from 40000 feet.
I wouldn't, as pointed out earlier, the road incidents are the main problem. Drive down any highway a few hours out of Jakarta and you will see buses and trucks rolled over.
Eka Lorena's buses are some of the main offenders.
Combine trip rates, unregulated speed limits, early wakeups for prayers, heavy carbs 3 times a day, and a roadfull of bad drivers. And its like a scene out of Cars movie with the tractors dosing off.
However the girls are the cream of the crop chosen from of all the bars there. And their price is at a whopping 705 rph.
There have always only been a handful of attractive girls in those bars. So now they pulled the best looking girls from those bars and doubled their price? No thanks.
Seems to me foolish to even consider giving that place any business. If it became successful, it would just result in the other places gleefully raising their prices.
I can only speak for myself, but I visited Bali for 5 days a few years back while working on Java. For my tastes, I found the women much, much better in Jakarta. I also found Bali to be a tourist trap. I suggest you consider a 50/50 split rather than 5 and 15. Just my 2 cents.
I was in Jogja not long ago and met a young couple from Europe who were there "for the local experience". They had rented a little house for a month out in the middle of nowhere that had no air conditioning and no tv. For transportation, they rented a motorbike, and they bought food at the local market and cooked at home every night. Personally, I can't imagine a more boring way to spend a month, but they seemed to love it.
Begpackers? Twatpackers? Ah well. Whatever. I just despise seeing those white women in harem pants and the guys with their shaggy beards and dreadlocks.
