I've been reporting this since last year when I went to Carnival in Barranquilla.

These guys are trying to put girls on retainer to be their vacation girlfriends and they think the girl is being loyal to them but the girl is already hooked on that "get the bag" social media bullshit and she's getting multiple gringos sending money where she doesn't have to leave her house anymore. What these men did was hyper inflate everything and the older the chica gets the more she wants. A perfect example is look what happened in Sosua, exactly how those women became entitled and started acting like women from ATL, MIA and NYC is exactly how the girls in Cartagena are acting now. I knew it was time to find another place when I saw the uptick of girls wearing Yankee fitted and all white Airforce Ones, then came the triple nose ring nonsense.

Just about every girl down there running around with an iPhone Pro Max and that should immediately tell any gringo these girls are taking on the materialistic culture broadcasted on social media from western women and the more places that get access to reliable internet the worse this is going to become; Thailand is slowly getting there as well.

I have been saying this for years now. The "make it rain ninjas" fucked the game up at all the main spots in Colombia. Super high hyperinflation! However, to be real, CTG was always a tourist trap—higher prices than any other place.

That and a lot of people are afraid to go to a new place. Take the Sosua thread for instance. A lot of people are finally fessing up that it has gone downhill despite me saying this for the past 13 or so years. But they still keep going there with excuses such as there is a beach, and the food is good, and their cousin's ex-boyfriend has a place there.

I said years ago how it was like battered spouse syndrome. No matter how bad it gets, they will not leave it. Leche papi leche. $100 short time. I am from the school of giving them $25/ day and having to make them go home because they did not want to leave.

It is funny because now many other places they could have explored and gotten to know in that timeframe are also headed downhill. But I do not feel bad for them. Should have checked it out while it was hot, instead of swearing by the one place.

I know its a 30-minute-long video but jump directly to timestamp 3:50 and watch how hes lacking street smarts and not picking up on that they are hiding their face while being on the video and he thought it was best to stay there. Genius decided to go hang out with the locals by that abandon spot next to Mall Plaza. He then decided that since it looked like the Philippines it was safe as the Philippines JAJAJA. Even after his enlightenment at 6:10 I doubt he learned anything.

I'm in an under-the-radar country at the moment paying $30 TLN with 8's and 9's. Some of us learned our lesson and we're not going to make posts or YouTube videos telling them where the next best spots are so they can come ruin it like they always do. I know some of these dudes and most of them don't even have $10 k in the bank. Imagine spending all your money on hookers when you barely have any savings. These are grown men we're talking about. Well, I had my gal buy a Starlink mini dish. We did not use it in Cartagena but a place North of Bogota. Still, the plan in Colombia is $60 a month for unlimited use which is half of what the USA is and why I had her buy the dish. Also, dish price was $300 in Colombia versus $600 in USA. Peak speeds in Colombia were 120 mb per second. Average was the 20 to 40 range, but the big thing is Starlink unlike the rural internet that was there was always working and reliable. The internet that was there was not working half the time.

In Cartagena, we always had issues with the internet breaking down until they started using wireless 5 g towers for the internet in our building and now our internet is fine.

As far as why Cartagena is getting ready to explode, the first part is if you go to Florida in December, January, or February, and think you are going to get warm, think again. I have frozen my ass off in Florida during those times. You are not safe in Florida until March.

In Cancun-Tulum, you get the mid 80's for highs and what used to be fantastic beaches. Tulum could compete with any beaches in the world with its white sand and crystal clear water. Thing is those beaches are now flooded with smells like ass seaweed. What shocked me is the airlines are now cutting service to Tulum's brand new airport.

On one of my flights to Cartagena, the flight was loaded with a group of fun loving and loud guys. I started talking to one of them and it turns out they were professionals on a bachelor party. They got a big airBNB where they could all hang out and hired a chef to cook for them. I thought about it and Cartagena really is the perfect place to have a bachelor party. You have hookers, casinos, decent restaurants and enough things to do for a week. You are guaranteed warm weather, seaweed free beaches, and do not have to worry about tropical storms or hurricanes. These guys wanted to get out of ice cold Chicago, and I was thinking how many guys in NYC, Philly, Boston, or DC are going to come to the same conclusion and fly to CTG. So the mayor's move to push the hookers underground and prices rising makes sense.

After just being in often cold and cloudy Bogota, it reminded me of how every woman I met and asked there would love to spend a few days in sunny and warm Cartagena. If you want a hot Colombian chick in Cartagena on the cheap, that IMO is the way to go. Hell, you might not even have to pay her if she likes you and you show her a good time. I started coming to Colombia five years ago and have never seen much I ever liked woman wise in Cartagena itself.

The average spent was $50-75. But I speak fluent Spanish and I don't deal with hardened pros who get flown to Dubai, Paris, Barcelona by simps and walk around the brand new iPhone and fake tits. You need to understand that the average monthly salary in these places is anywhere from $250-$500. If you really believe the average place is $130 then you are clueless. And just because people don't want to pay the highest prices doesn't mean that they're broke. That means that they rather save their money for other things. He took the ids and would not give them back until I came down or called him. Had zero issues in 10 years. Its not giving away money when they provide a service. Its like when you first get to a place you don't know. You pay the toutes to learn the game. When you learn the game you still tip one or two just to keep your knowledge of the area and people looking out for you tight.
