Had a day open up, so I'm taking a 3 day weekend trip, well 2 full days actually, to CTG. Arrive about 1 PM Friday, leave about 1 PM Sunday, so a full 48 hours for my first trip.
I'll be staying 300 meters from the Clock Tower, which seems like a good spot for my first trip, maneuvering around should be pretty easy.
Been to Medellin and Bogota many times, 1 trip 2 years ago to Cali, and last year a few to Cuba, Jamaica and Aruba.
Honestly, no plans, just going to wander around and see what I bump into. I'm 100% sure this will work, but if there's any spectacular things I should do in the walled city, apart from chicas, do let me know. Especially any great restaurants, etc.
Thanks!

Nomars777.
You should always try to clear up whether you can bring chicas up to your apartment. A lot of buidlings are restrictive -.
Restaurants that are good.
If you like Italian. Di Silvio Trattoria.
CL. 29 #9 - 72, Getsemaní (copy and paste that into Google Maps).
Crepes and Waffles.
Two locations the one in the Old City; Pl. De San Pedro Claver #4 #31-24, El Centro.
Hope you enjoy your upcoming trip. I always enjoy Mirador which is right as you enter the clocktower. The staff has always been great and I usually go there for lunch as they usually have a futbol game on. You could also go to their rooftop which gives you a full view of the clocktower scene. Another restaurant is Oudres which is more upscale and usually has a live performance you can enjoy while you eat. One more would be Cuzco Cocina which is a Peruvian restaurant that is amazing. You can't go wrong with either of these places and they are all great spots to bring a friend.
On another note. I'll be traveling to Aruba shortly and if you had any info about where to stay, guides, and St Nicolas info please share. I've asked on the Aruba thread and I'm getting crickets.

Nomars777.
And another good restaurant recommendation for somewhat high-end Colombian food is a place called Alma. I'd call it fine dining. It was really good.
Aruba options, I'll post over there.
Thanks for these recommendations, sounds like they're super close to where I'll be staying, which is convenient!

Hi there.
How's the situation in old town now. I heard / read about mass crackdown on bars / clock tower and some sort of locals, calling a 'moral police squad' type to harass you few months ago; is it still the same, have things recovered? I'm thinking about heading down end of Feb / early March and even heading to Rosario for a night or two. I haven't seen any updates from the 'crackdown' so thought I'd ask. Any thoughts on Rosario for a little RnR (maybe just one are if there's a chica) .
As a senior member who has contributed quite a bit in the past to this forum (but who has been living the the good husband married life for past 10 years and now have gotten bored), I'm hoping you guys give me a little slack with the RTFF for my question. I am looking at a last minute getaway trip to Cartagena this weekend. My last trip was in 2012- way before this place got popular for all the wrong reasons. I prefer the discos and wanted to know where the best discos are now for freelancers and what the opening "ask" is by the girls? Between not having enough privacy to RTFF for updated info and a short notice upcoming visit, I'm hoping someone will help me out.
Is "Tony #1" still at Hollywood beach?
TIA.
Is "Tony #1" still at Hollywood beach?
Yes. But why would you need him?
Yo thanks for that fam good lookin! I saw the info over at Chicacheck before it went offline. Her Facebook was listed on there and is wide open. Slid in the DMs but no reply. I kinda feel sorry for old dude putting a ring on a working girl but SIMPS going to be SIMPS, would never be me having a working girl parading me around like some ATM. Anyway I'm going for carnival and trying to get new info on girls and clubs. Looks like Dolce is back open and Delirium moved to where Pley Club at. Shits wild out there fam.
You don't have PM but looks like someone decided to take the girl you were looking for off the market.
The edited ones were dropped in a WhatsApp group but the original pictures are available to the public on her social media, and I made sure to put in this post they are publicly available for anyone to see as I know how the Mods here like to remove pictures.
Will be on Barranquilla for carnival and will probably stop in cartagena. All the airbnb places don't allow guests unless they are registered in advanced. Where to guys go?
