I was pissed because of the 1 hour notice, and by the way it was told to me.
Got notified by Rick I had to leave after noon, while I was stepping out to drive to Pto Pta for a date. I had requested my reservation to be extended the day before, and Colin had told me they would let me know in the morning. By noon I had assumed I was fine, and went on with my life before being told that they were about to pick up a good customer at the airport. And that I could have one of the cheaper no A/C room upstairs.
Felt like second-class citizen, and it screwed up my date.
In retrospect, no big deal, of course. Plus I liked Voramar better.

In September the street was supposed to be closed, then it was going to happen in November now maybe later. Club X wasnt opened when I was there but it had been advertised. And remember in 2010 when they were going to transform the beach to an oasis. It seems the well known Dominican bait and switch is still working. Draw in the new money with promises and milk them dry until they give up or keep playing, then move to the next new money. Are we at a stage in the "New Sosua" where we see new things every year? Meanwhile the girls are getting more hardcore as they chase the cheap tricks. Whats the method to the madness?

I have many fond memories of Clasicos, but I actually like the options and openness of D'Latin and Rumba a lot. D'Latin has a nice feel with the large TV screens, music, food, chicas and no entrance fee. That being said, Clasicos / Merengue bar had some unused space, for instance, under the stairs. It was time for an upgrade and it was good to see Clasicos and Flow stepping up their game. Venue competition is healthy from a monger's perspective.

Chicas would put on their best outfits to go to Classicos on Friday and Saturday nights. People hung around just to be part of the festivities. It was energetic. Sorry, but Rumba and Dlatins don't have that feel. They are just open air bars. Classicos and Merengue had big open walkways which was great for me. I hate being packed in like I was at Dlatins. And those uneven floors at Dlatins will catch you off guard.
Change is good sometimes but can we really say Sosua is better now than five years ago? Five years ago we had chicas everywhere daytime and night time. Most were looking to lock in for your trip and make your vacation unforgettable. Most would stay with you until you paid them to leave. Romance and fun was the recipe. Now its just a rush fuck and on to the next guy. Classicos and Latinos discos are closed, the two biggest and best spots for me. They are replaced with open air bars. Where do I go to dance and party now?
Before the girls had their niche. The daytime girls who usually didn't go out at night that prefered to stay in your hotel at night. The night time crew that slept all day and got fresh for the night time show. The beach crew who offered massages and quickies during the afternoon. All these girls were GFE. We say change is good but I don't see it, the Sosua I know is just a mirage.
Did you bang this chick in black dress and how much did it cost you and do you have good contacts in India.

Thus you can spend time there and not come out with your clothes, hair, and skin smelling of tobacco, and likewise the chicas, most of whom do not smoke cigarettes themselves. The other bars that are open or semi-open do allow smoking, but even though they are semi-open everyone gets smoked upon.
