Weekday Panorama and Kubu
I met Sylvan for some exploration again yesterday night. We met at Jockey's, I arrived some 10 minutes earlier and I think I was just one of three white males, and probably the youngest. Most of the male audience is Indian / Pakistani professionals, so the ambience was quite relaxed. No rowdy behavior, no drunk people.
Girls were split 40% Chinese (and Viets as I discovered) 40% black. 20% CIS (of those just a quarter would be slavic, rest Central Asian) , quality of the girls is not bad at all. Yes some I woudl describe as ugly / fat (maybe catering to the taste of the majority) but also some cute ones. Overall as many girls as Seaview during a weekday and probably better quality average. I got the phone number of a quite cute Viet girl, here for 10 days, planning to stay 2-3 months. She was nto happy I tried to talk her in Chinese, that was fun. I will report on her later, once I taste her.
Then we went to Kubu, first impression was. Wow so amazing. Girls dressing really nice, So pretty, drooling. Then my eyes adapted a little bit to the darkness. Girls were dressing nice, yes, much better than Jockey's but they were not any younger. I talk to one (probably mamasan) who has spent 18 years in Dubai. Hummm. And they were terribly business like. Still if you fancy blonde and slavic this is a place to check, just be ready to go 1, 500 and up, I personally do not like feeling like a German altar boy, and these girls coudl have me for lunch quite easily.
Interesting Kubu was mostly Indian too, but in this case it was a majority of HPIM (Highly-Paid Indian Morons) , HPWM (Highly-Paid White Morons) and a few SDAD (Sex-Deprived in Arab Dress) I doubt the girls would consider the offer of HHWP (Humble Hard-Working Peasants) here. I am not sure if this mix is the usual or is driven by the Eid Holidays but the girls were quite a Christmas look in their faces. I also think some of the guys were running quite a tab with the drink, man these Russian girls like to drink.
Just a final thought, as Dubai residents we may get annoyed with the HPIM, HPWM, SDAD, but we should keep in mind that:
-pulling a girls like the ones in Kubu in Delhi would cost (according to Sylvan) 2, 500-3, 000 dirhams. And that is after spending a lot of time, money and effort in building some good relationships,
-people based in Qatar or KSA have limited time, they are in a different time vs money tradeoff. And they could not find girls like this at alsmot any price.
-same for the local trying to play around.
So yes, we can be priced out of certain venues, but the people there are also acting quite rationally. They are not idiots as some people may think, they just happen to have a different tradeoff and the girls are not stupid. Furthermore some people prefer places a little bit classier, Kubu does not look like the meat market it is, girls are well behaved and you do nto have the rowdiness of places like York or Seaview.
I still think that Kubu is not good value for money (for me) , and I will not visit very often. For those of us here with some time for shopping I would advise to give Panorama some attention, it has improved, and while I still need to check Regal I have to say that today is probably the best place for those on a limited budget
