This makes way more sense than a special a la carte in house kitchen. As I say, I think that the staff costs for such a set up would be too expensive if the a la carte cost was included in the entry fee.

Entrance and how to be met at the door:

A little to "cold" entrance area at Artemis and Oase. I like Palace entrance area much better as it sets the tone for what is to come. Darker lights, photos of the interior, girls etc. Not that important really, but nevertheless. The welcome ladies are all nice at all places, extra point to the blond girl at Artemis.

Shower room:

Water temperature can sometimes be a problem at Palace, I have found the showers next to the sauna to be the best, but even that can vary. No problem at Artemis. Palace I think has the best shower rooms, Artemis is OK, but Oase could definitely do with an upgrade. Smells bad at Oase – ouch.

Bar and main recreation area:

Good thing about Palace is that there is no smoking in the bars, there are separate smoking areas. This is definitely a plus for us non-smokers. Palace have real glasses (I guess fake-glass for non-alcoholic beverages, but real glasses for real drinks in the alcohol bar. Hate to say it but the plastic cups at Artemis just threw me off a bit. Oase is same as Palace. Atmosphere is best at Palace I think, more space around the bars. Artemis is kind of tight. Oase is ok, but I absolutely prefer Palace.

Spa/Sauna/relax area:

All three have quite spacious areas. I liked that Artemis was one floor down, makes it a little "grander". Nice Hammam at Artemis, just missed out the hammam myself as I got there a little late. Too bad. Nice saunas and steam-rooms. Oase are spread out a bit more with a large outdoor area that is very nice in the summer. (Tips for newbies not used to steam-rooms: splash the walls with lots of water to steam-up the room. In some there are water-hoses, others not.)

The staff:

Actually there is a law in Germany that says you must carry proper ID at all times. As a non German this means a passport. Not having it will not get you arrested but you could well spend time in a small cell with other gypsies, foot fungus and worse.
