Why not do a search on the hotels in the hotels in BKK thread, and see whether you'ld prefer NEP or Cowboy, since NEP is across the street from Nana hotel while the latter is close to Soi Cowboy's bars.

Nana and Cowboy are fairly close to each other, you can walk it, so stay any where in between or nearer one to the other. You can also get the sky train between the two if you want.

You could check out the Thermae Coffeeshop near Sukhumvit Soi 15. Girls go there after their bars close. And there are loads of freelancers on Sukhumvit generally.
