First of all I want to thank all the members of this forum who helped me to put my mind at ease. I took their advice and started PEP after consulting with a Doctor from Practo.

During the course of PEP, I did not find any sort of symptons in my body. However on the 21st day, I delayed taking the pill by about 10 hours. Apart from this delay, I was able to complete the course without any problem.

I set up an HIV Combo test using Dr Safehands on the 33rd day after the incident. I opted for a visit to their testing center and received my reports within 48 hours of testing. I got a call from a Doctor representing Dr Safehands who said to go for 1 more test after 45 days or to go for an STD panel check if there are any symptoms like rashes or burning sensation while passing urine.

I do not have any of these symptoms but I am suffering from a sore throat and nasal blockage (no fever) ever since my PEP got completed. I am assuming that this is due to change in weather and nothing serious. However, I am still planning to go for the STD panel test just to be sure and have mental peace.

I was stressed during the past 30 days started worrying a lot during the test as I was having a sore throat. I am not sure whether I am out of the woods yet, but looking at the result I feel more at peace now.

I booked an HIV Combo test using Dr Safehands and opted to visit their testing center. The test center asked to sign on a consent form. I received the reports within 48 hrs of testing and also received a call from their Doctor. He said that the result is normal. He also advised to repeat the test after 15 days or to go for an STD panel test in case of symptoms like rashes / buring sensation while passing urine.

I do not have any of the symptoms but I am having a sore throat and cold as soon as I completed my PEP. I hope this is to do with the change in weather and nothing serious. I am planning to go for an STD panel test to be assured and have mental peace.

I was very stressed the past 30 days and even more so during the HIV test process due to my sore throat. But now looking at the results, I feel a bit relieved.

I am thankful to this community for their advice and support. I also read through other such reports in this forum which helped me to understand my situation better.

There is no way to tell by looks (50-60% of STD cases could be asymptomatic or dormant). As far the smell is concerned, if there is a fishy or musty odor, then there is a very high chance of infection. But like I said lack of smell or sweet or sour taste doesn't mean she is clean. And even visibly checking a girl for warts is not foolproof. What if her warts are inside the pussy or anus, you may miss them during a casual observation. If you are doubtful or are seeing any symptoms get tested, Do a STD panel test. So some saliva from your hand / condom onto your dick will not give you HIV.
