Hey guys, thanks for posting some really good information over the last few months. This is info that has been very hard to come by over the years. Sharing helps all of us on our trips to PV, so I hope others that benefit from this info give back to the forum by posting their experiences here with enough detail to allow a reader to experience the same place or woman. That includes street locations or directions. I find Google Earth to be a great resource for street names and locations. Thanks.

PV's La Zona Roja is on the main route 200 PV Tepic, about 5 miles North of down town, or about 3 miles North of the cruise ship terminal, on the East side of the road. Correct me if I am wrong about the distance. I rented an old VW bug, driving around day and night. It did not seem that far.
You will see the bull ring on the East side, right hand side, with a dirt road next to it. Turn right into that dirty road and go for about 1000 feet, you will see a walled in area with about 10 bars surrounding a dirt parking lot. Check out the bars. There are girls of all sizes and shapes day and night. The girls are very authentic Mexican. Almost noone in this area even speak a few words in English. The girl wanted anywhere between 400 to 800 pesos to go to their rooms behind the bars.
I was there a few times late at night. There were a few taxis waiting in the parking lot even after mid night. It's possible to take a taxi from downtown or the cruis ship terminal. Just tell them La Zona Roja and they all know. Probably costs US$5 from the cruise ship terminal. You can give the taxi drivers a few bucks and ask them to wait. Or you can ask the bar to calla taxi for you when you are ready to leave.

As John Dough recently posted, there are only 3 bars, Las Alazenas, a brothel type of bar, and the two strip clubs Osiris and Tapanko, and it has been this way for many many years.

You may be correct.
I saw about a dozen places but most were closed, only 3 or 4 seem to be open for business even late at night. So the places that were closed were probably permanently closed.
I don't remember the exact number or names of those places.

Got off the ship today and stopped at Walmart to use the ATM then walked to Los Antorches. Had a beer with Lucy but she was a bit mature and big for my taste. Chose Patricia, a 33 yo Latina with a nice curvy shape. Took the long walk and got to a room that was not what I expected but it worked. Patricia was nice and did everything I wants. A good time for about 1000 pesos. I got a pic but don't think I can upload it. Maybe when I get home in a couple days.

Hi all,
I finally made it while a cruise ship was in port, actually 3 cruise ships. As soon as I walked in I was approached by a couple of heavies, but opted to wait. I spoke to a lighter haired heavy but nice girl that seemed to want to provide basic information and introductions. Didn't get her name but she knew english well enough. She introduced me to Vienna (sp?) who caught my eye. 1,000 pesos offered but quickly went to 600, which covered bar / room & Vienna!
Vienna did not know English, but that was OK. Very nice and accommodating. I had fun. The only issue I had was the condom broke at the very end. This was kind of a shocker for me. She didn't seem concerned. I know it was moments before I pulled out and completed. I am usually a careful guy for obvious reasons.
I may venture out to El why Ella, but had some conflicting info about it being closed. If that is the case, I will try Andromeda / Platino's as recommended by JD earlier.

Exchange is 12 or 13 to one. I multiple the peso cost by 80.
I have 20 phone numbers from girls who were anxious to give their numbers in my foggy wanderings from place to place. I'm glad to share them, but I don't check this board on a regular basis. Just be patient.
They give their cell numbers which start with "322". You have dial "044" first if you are calling with a phone card.
Patinos has another name, but it's the same operation.
Rogelio took me out touring a couple of times. I give him 500 for about 3 hours.
What a great guy! He knows so many places and women.
One night he took me to a large bar in Pittial. Some guys at another table hired a 12 band mariachis to play for an hour in the bar. There were about 15 single women sitting around (at 11PM). But Rogelio said that they are not "business" hookers. You have to invite them to a drink, dinner, etc. If you get along, they will go with you. For money. It's complicated.
Another night we went to Golden Boy. We danced with several nice looking and friendly women.
Maria kept smiling at me. A got her number and asked if I could meet her downtown the next day. She said of course. I called her number (I have it) at 9AM. We agreed for 6PM. I got room in the Analiz on Calle Madero (300 pesos), but she never showed up.
