I heard the same thing. But I was told it was dicsovered that toward the end of the night they would make the drinks weaker so people would have to buy more drinks to get drunk/buzzed. It was also mentioned that they had video cameras in Rock Bottom, but they would only let officials view the video that helped the non-Amercans if there was a fight video taped. The Cosomo lounge in Ramee is still open for the Navy. Most of the Navy people I talked to, all seem to talk about going to Wranglers. I have never been there so I don't know what that scene is, but I know many people on this forum do.

I just went to Wranglers today.. it's 11BD all you can drink. I was only going to stay a little while so they guy let me in for 3 BD. He said this deal was only on Thursdays. Last time I was in Bahrain, the week before Ramadan 2008, I went back. They were charging admission (4-5 BD?) and they were promoting some African lady DJ. I wish they could let you see and listen in a little before going in because it was not for me. I didn't recognize any of the music (sorry, I'm not African) and she kept talking in the middle of songs. Again, no asian types. I did feel though that I was deep in the heart of the Congo.
