Use pocket WiFi for Internet. If you have iPhone X, use eSim from Airalo. Hope that helps.

Hi,
I am Jakarta and will be here for a year.
Can you please advise I some good contacts. Thank you for help.
Hi everyone,
Can anyone please tell me the dress code for CJs and Bats?
Can you get in with trainers, t-shirt and jeans or does it have to be a smart shirt, trousers and smart shoes?
Thanks.

Most times I wear a long sleeve shirt with a collar, but I have worn t-shirts there. It's places like DragonFly that don't allow t-shirts. I wouldn't wear one of those black or white "undershirt" type of t-shirts that are so popular, those might not get you in.
They expect a smart standard of dress.
If it is smart casual, I see no problem.
Anybody know the pretty, slim, flat chested Amel from BATS?
Keen to know how traveled she is.
Memories has almost died a death.
Fought for my life in there recently, one man died in the fight.
Jaksa is empty.
Blok M has been taken over my Africans.
My Bar is still the go from anytime at night to 6 am.
BATS and CJs are over rated with Yank cover bands for music that get really annoying really quickly. I wait for the dance music inbetween.
The girls vary, and I haven't seen any stunners amongst them.
Blok M has been taken over my Africans.
D's place and My Bar were still ok when I was there recently.
But the taxi drivers agree with you. I have known those taxi drivers for years. I took a taxi from there last week and asked the driver how business was at Blok M and the guy said "Blok M no good now because of Obama Bar and all the black guys. The black guys always fighting and bad people. " I hadn't seen evidence of that, but I take him for his word since he's there every night.

Hey Smoothy,
I have a possible layover option in Jakarta this NewYear for few days. I've tried KL scene in past where FL hikes their price by 2 x-3 x as part of their New Year resolutions! From your experience in living Jakarta, how busy / crazy scene would be in-terms of visiting Classic / King Cross? I would like to play safe to avoid overcrowded, sweaty and Intoxicated mens grinding me at classic or at similar places. LMAO.
What the hell is up with these girls in CJ's trying to order Macallan when you ask them if they want a drink? That crap is 400k (about 30 USD) a glass. When they order for themselves, they order the cheapest drink possible. When they have you paying, they want Macallan. I had three different girls the other night try to order that. Why is that popular all of a sudden? In 20 years going there, I never had a girl ask for that. But the other night, all 3 girls I talked with tried to order it. Is this some kind of a scam where CJs is asking the girls to order that? I also had a girl demand 300 usd ST. She was smoking hot, but come on. I certainly hope nobody is actually giving these girls that much. Suffice it to say, our conversation ended ther. I did not see her spending any long amount of time talking with any guy even though she was the hottest girl in the bar, so hopefully she went home empty handed.
