Curfew ends at 4 am. Around 5:15 am I left the Marriott to walk the beach, see if anyone was out there. I found four girls directly across from Marriott / Mikes Shopping Center, turned North toward Hilton, saw three more girls, continued walking, three Lady Boys, walked a bit more and came upon three more girls. If you're looking to economize, book a cheaper hotel, or even a basic guesthouse, for those days at the start and end of your trip. But do yourself a favor. Have someplace where you can lie your head and take a shower, someplace you know your belongings will be secure. It will be worth every satang.

Standard room 1280 B. No need to take a Superior for 1480 B, the only difference is they are a little bit bigger.

Quietly located, if you take a room in the back. The rooms at the front have some noise coming from the Wonderful Bar across the soi.

Centrally located, only a 5 minute stroll to Beach Road and a 10 minute stroll to Walking Street. Plenty of beer bars in the neighbourhood.

Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious rooms with good bed, nice bath room, balcony, in-room safe, free wifi and an easy-chair. Swimming pool at the roof top.

Met with a girl on Beach Rd about 9:30 pm, named Bao I think. Quite pretty, great smile, told me she is 29 and looked about that, showed me some hot dance moves and I was hooked, long ponytail, decent curves and biggish ass which I like.

Knowing the bars would close at 12 we agreed to 1,500 LT, me thinking we'the drink and dance for a couple of hours then action time back at my hotel.

I've got no idea what she used and I think to myself should report this to someone?

I decide nah, let it go, so down to the pool for a few hours, brekkie, swimming etc. When I get back to my room there on the bed is a blood covered pillow case and pillow with a note from the housekeeper saying that they will charge me 650 be to replace them. Another display of my dizziness through this whole thing, I had got up and went out of the room without even noticing the blood stained pillow.

I hope the pics of my neck and pillow attach properly here to show that this is not a fantasy tale, so my questions to you all are these.

WTF happened to me?

Was I the victim of some mumbo jumbo shit?

Was I drugged in some way? I was very vague and dozy.

Has anybody else experienced anything like this?

But now you also have to think about the curfew!

I spend the next three days taking Scuba instruction and going on scuba trips to get my Open Water certificate. Classes and boat trips stare early. You have to be at the dive center by 98 AM every day. Bar hopping and late night pickups from Red Car or Insomnia would be off the menu. For a couple of days. But I figured I could go into town to get a relaxing soapy or hit Soi 6 for a quickie before going home early to get a good night's sleep.

Incidentally, I can't recommend Mermaid's Diving center enough. A bunch of great guys and real pros too. I learned a lot and had a real blast. One on one instruction with plenty of time under water. A great way to decompress (no pun intended) form the bar girl scene. Plus its a good alibi. You sound like less of a pervert if you tell people you are going to Thailand on a diving trip. Especially if your are going alone.

The first day of instruction, which was primarily in the pool under the hot sun really kicked my ass and I am beat. Just as I am at home gathering strength and figuring out which soapy to go to when I get a message form Pim (Ms DD from the threesome a couple of days ago). She says she misses me.
