You are right about the Juices served in HK, orange, apple, grapefruit, pineapple. They are about 24 ozs of good natural juices in tall cardboard containers. The bros can order those instead of water bottles. I used to go down to the bar in the morning and order 2 of those large juice boxes for free for breakfast hehe.

Looking like I'm going mlk weekend for 3rd time coiming from LA. Probably do 2 or 3 days sat-Tues. 16th or sun-Tues. 16th check-in and check-out. Last time I went parked at Jack-In Box by San Ysidro border but stayed 2 1/2 days and parking charge came up to $60+. Where are some parking places within 15-20 miles or less from San Ysidro border where I can park for free or a lot less then ill catch a uber to border for (3 days) Sat-Tues. Or (2 Days) Sun-Tues. And then ill take uber to border? Feel free to pm me as well.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]I live in SD and park at one of the Blue Line transit center Trolley stops. Parking is free and the trolley costs $5. Ride the trolley to the end and there you are at San Yaidro. I park at 8th street (National City). The ride from there is about 15-20 minutes. There are closer stops to the border. Never had an issue.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]I was going to stay in Tijuana across from San Ysidro for 3 days and could not find one lot that was cheap. So I took the short jaunt down to Otay Mesa. There are two great parking lots there that only charge 10 dollars for 24 hours. Plus you don't have to deal with any lines whatsoever coming back. Best way to go in my estimation.

There is one place by Jack in the box that charges $8 a day I believe. But if you drive around the area you should be able to find parking for much less than $60.

The San Ysidro station for the San Diego Trolley offers no available parking. But I think the last five stations of the Blue line nearest to San Ysidro all offer free parking. Maybe someone can comment about how prudent it is to leave your car in one of those trolley station parking lots for multiple days?

I've used the MTS parking at 8th numerous times for day trips. I've never had any issues. But I've never left a car there for 2-3 days. I've never had an issue and would probably consider it if needed.

You can park free for a few days on side streets along San Ysidro Blvd, like Border Village Rd. Or East Beyer St.

Make sure you observe street signs for street sweeping days etc.

On East Beyer I have seen broken glass every time I walked by. I don't think it's worth the hassle and costs of risking your car broken into.

Thanks for advice. The jack in box at San Ysidro was 8 HR for 8 hrs on weekdays only which makes it 20+ a day and weekends little more. Can I find free parking for 2 or 3 days near trolley stations? Which trolley station would be best option? I heard Oldtown trolley station is decent option but I'm not sure if there's free parking near there for multiple days. Also where are the $10 a day lots by otay mesa located?

Take the 94 freeway East to Siempre Viva Road (1st exit). Make a left at the light and a right on Roll Street (Starbucks on corner). 1st pay parking lot on left.

I always park on Border Village dr or on the dead end street by Goodwill. Have never had anyone break into my car. The only caveat is that I got my car towed on the north side of street on cul-de-sac. It was completely bogus since the they were claiming the gravel by side of road is private property. There are these no no parking tow signs like you see in parking lots and they claimed these applied to a public street.
