Potential solution to this menace
Yes have faced similar experiences to what RajooDudezWell and coolsp have posted here.Earlier when I myself graduated to a seasoned monger I have supported the rookies and even fought with some seniors over here. But after some experiences with the newbies I thought to myself that I really made a fool out of myself because of the behaviour and attitude of quite a few newbies.
To quote an instance, on request of a rookie shared the contact followed by the pic to him on Watsapp and he is like the pics are good but can you show better ones, as if I'm a SP.
And I have an insight which may reduce these unpleasant experiences. I have observed when you just use the PM facility in ISG it's fine. Only when you chat with the rookies they keep pestering you with irritating questions. This is becoz in the ISG PM communication happens over multiple iterations and basically it's a simplex communication rather than Watsapp where it's easier to exchange messages instantly. So my advice will be exchange the contacts only through the PM s here for the newbies. If you are looking for an exchange with a senior member then Watsapp is preferable.
Hope I made sense. If you guys have contradictory views feel free to discuss here. At the end of the day we all want the contacts to remain safe without compromising on the exchange culture which is the real reason this forum is for. It's just we need to filter out the 2-3% of the trouble creators from the genuine mongers.

Disappointing turn of events

I fully understand how you feel after having bad experiences with newbies. But the thing I don't understand is why do you help complete strangers with GEM like contacts and get cheated at the end whereas you have not helped guys like me who have high reputation here even after recommendation from a highly respected\beloved senior who belongs to your small WA group.
I agree that my FR count is less but it is only because of the promises I made to the senior who has helped me in my times of adversity that won't write FRs of the birds I got from him (and also because of my utter laziness in writing FRs). Otherwise my FR count would have easily crossed 40+.
I have kept that promise made to the senior till this very day which I am proud of. Not just this senior but to every other person whom I have got contacts from. So, similar to how cheaters / backstabbers get great contacts easily. Good / genuine people like me doesn't get contacts at all from you even after trying many times. That's the way this world works I guess. Cruel indeed.
I thought of not writing this one up but I was just not able to hide my disappointment.
