She has never been late before. We had set up this date a day prior. On the day of our planned get together we casually texted each other several times up to 6:15 pm and everything seemed fine. I texted her again at 7:15 and she said she was getting ready and would leave her apartment soon. I don't know what went on at her place. Frankly I did not think of another customer. I thought her delay might have something to do with her son or something. What she should have done when she knew she was going to be 90 minutes late to our party was to ask me if we could meet later like at 10 pm and give me the option to say yes or no.

You'll find all kinds of guys of various age groups 18 to 70's and some wearing suits and others in t shirts and jeans. You don't want to look like you just rolled out of bed or heading to the gym. Pretty standard stuff.
Sunday morning was a rush to get the breakfast out of the way as the girls were leaving after breakfast. I was kind of relived to see the other go but not Recife. Few things I noticed:
1. Hotel doesn't really check how many guests you have. I registered two the first night and they charged me 350 r for the third guest but I took her off after the first night and they didn't charge for the new girl we bought in. There wasn't a charge for her breakfast for two days either.
2. The girls at the hotel bar are a hit or miss and for mongers like us. Mostly a miss. They are good for those that don't want to venture outside of their hotel. A lot of people are like that. They have heard of how dangerous it is and just refuse to leave. But you will pay the price for not knowing the market rates.
3. Hotel was fully packed due to carnival weekend and by Sunday it was pretty empty. No masks anywhere and the breakfast downstairs was in full swing which makes me happy. The lounge was open and back to its normal self. Glad to see things coming back to normal.
4. Walked Avenida Paulista on Sunday and it was a full on party. Street vendors, drinks, band playing and people dancing in the street. I spent a few hours just going up and down.
Anyway. Another great weekend in São Paulo and now back to my regular life at home which I enjoy since it makes weekends like these more interesting.
