My Posting and Comments Made
I was not downgrading her. I understand what is she doing, as I worked in the Philippines 2007-2012 and dealt with college graduates everyday. I had at least 50+ applicants every time I had a position open. Over half would have college degrees and none of them were working in their career field. I had 10+ nursing graduates apply for driving positions. Why? Maybe because there are no jobs and also I paid 649 P a day plus benefits.
I am now in the Middle East and there are Filipina's working here, one is a nurse, making $700 a month, plus room and board. The room is a 10 X10 concrete block with a CR. Any idea how I met her? In a bar looking to make money dating. Not because she wants to, but she is trying to survive.
My issue with his post, was his condescending attitude regarding Filipinas being used as sperm receptacles by men who are old enough to be their grandfather.
I am delighted my post has given rise to such attention. My thanks to those who agreed with the post content.
Indeed, the objective of the post was to get people to THINK before getting married to a bar girl, that is all. Hopefully some who spend the time reading it properly will benefit from it.
A few points:
1) The post has nothing to do with comparing degrees in the Philippines with other countries. Please focus on the content of the post which was comparing bar girls with girls who have striven, often at great relative expense and effort to themselves, to gain a qualification.
2) MadisonGuy: Please reread my post: I stated that MOST, not ALL bar girls had Filipino boyfriends.
3) Robbaf, I repeat my second to last paragraph: "Remember, there are many beautiful fully qualified licensed nurses, doctors, hotel managers, teachers and other qualified girls that may be able to continue their careers abroad after marrying and not be a financial burden as a bar girl would almost certainly be". What has this to do with "sperm receptacles"?
Of course one can always find exceptions to any human endeavor.
That should not detract from the fact that marrying a bar girl implies substantial extra pitfalls, already experienced by so many others who have done so.
