Luxe Oppai Club. Expensive option for simps.
This was the first club I tried after reading glowing Traveler X reviews about oppai clubs. I do like going to strip clubs in the US and just getting lap dances sometimes, so it seemed like a good option. I understood it wouldn't be exactly like US strip clubs of course.
I followed Traveler X playbook and started at Manzoku info center instead of going directly to the club. Manzoku is described well by Traveler X, but basically they provide info and intro you to the local adult industry clubs at a discount for you. You will see "Manzoku" on them in English. The main Manzoku now seems to be right across the street from the former Robot Restaurant (now Samurai Time Restaurant). At leas that's the one I can easily find. Everyone there spoke English. I told them I wanted Oppai clubs. They told me basic info I already knew from reading excellent Traveler X posts. It was about 9 pm, and they told me 8 k yen for 40 min, three girl rotation, kissing and touching boobs OK, free drinks for me. No touching below the waist. Girl will seat on your lap. All of that. The first club they suggested was Luxe, which is the one I wanted. They called them to make sure I was good to go. I did honestly tell them "zero Japanese". It was fine.
They walked me from their info office to the Luxe (like literally the guy form Manzoku that called walked me over). It's on the 4 F or something like that (up the elevator anyway). Once there the club workers / door people showed me info sheet in English. Again, same info. The "regular" price is 13 k yen for 40 minutes (if I wanted to stay beyond the initial 40 min). So 8 k was the "Manzoku" special, first 40-min round only. They would bring me 3 girls (more or less each 10-15 min). If I liked the girl I could "keep" her for another 20 min for 4 k yen extra. Then I could buy her drinks. There was a "cheap" 3 k drink option and an "expensive" tequila for 4 k option.
As you can see you can spend quite a bit fairly quickly. So be careful.
Anyway, I was ready for all that (thank you Traveler X). They literally give you mouthwash right there to rinse your mouth and spit out in a bucket. You do that before you go in.
So I paid and went it. Very nice lounge-like ambiance. Totally open large room with girls seating with guys on nice couches. They put me in a corner on a separate couch. I had large area all to myself. I guess it can get busier, but it wasn't. It was about 10 pm on a Sunday night at that point. I had a medium size bag with me which they didn't care about (or forgave me my foreigner faux pas).
So they bring me my first girl. Tall, attractive, decent English. She sits by me. We chit-chat for a few minutes. We start getting handsy. She tells me I can kiss her and undoes her very nice dress on top to give me access. She sits on my lap (straddles me). We kiss a bit. She almost immediately asks for a drink. I think OK, get her a beer / cheap drink (3 k). Pretty quick after that her time was up, as I am just starting to play with her boobs a bit and kiss a bit. She starts begging me "I don't want to go, I want to stay with you, can I please stay with you?" - which would've cost me 4 k. I did want to see other girls, so now I am in the position of being an asshole by telling her to get lost because I want to make out with out chicks, possibly hotter than she is. She takes it OK I guess. She is out of there. I did not expect her to start literally begging me to stay. Made me feel bad. I know it's a game for simps to squeeze out money, the nomination fee and more drinks. But I still felt bad. Like I was an asshole and she wasn't good enough for me. She was pretty and nice, even if manipulative. Maybe I'm a bit of a simp.
Next chick was Clare. Slightly hotter. Slightly worse English. She said she spoke good Spanish though. My Spanish is very basic. So she had to use translator a few times. She tells me she is new. Pretty sure she was lying, or at least she worked at other Oppai clubs before. The way she made out with me and let me touch her boobs made be think it wasn't her first time doing that with a random guy. She also almost immediately asks for a drink. OK, now I am 3 k + 3 k = 6 k extra in (about $40), only on the second girl. She did jump on my lap quicker, lost her top quicker, and was better at making out. She stuck her tongue in my ear, which got me super hard. She did do a bit of stick shifting under the table through my pants (just a tiny bit, to lead me on). Then she asks for a tequila shot. OK, expensive, now it's 4 k. Turns out she ordered 2 - so now it's extra 8 k. FML. They are tiny. Like a 1/4 of a regular shot, and they were "mango tequila", so basically zero alcohol. However, she keeps making out very nice. Then she says her time is up, would I please extend? I do, now it's another 4 k. FML. But she was hot, friendly, and kissed nice. Actually she kissed more and better than most full service girls I fucked in Japan elsewhere.
I did have a couple of beers myself, and both girls were giving me my beer while sitting on my lap in-between making out. My drinks were free (other than tequila shot she got me). I could've had "high ball" (whiskey + soda), beer, sake (I think?) and can't remember what else. Unlimited.
So finally she tells me her time is up and my time is up (40 min is over). I ask my server (a guy that basically sat me and was bringing us drinks) how much my tab is. He tells me 17 k yen at that point (on top of admission) and starts giving me astronomical numbers it would be if I wanted to stay another round + extend with this girl (something like 30 k yen and up). I sighed and said no, thank you, no.
Both girls did give me their cards (Clare gave me 2) for free "nomination" next time (normally 4 k to choose specific girl). They gave me a card as soon as I bought them a drink, like immediately.
So overall I spent 25 k (8 k admission and 17 k in drinks plus extension fees) to slightly make out with two girls for 40 minutes. It's about $160 USD or so at the current exchange rate. It was kind of fun, but the feeling of being constantly used, pumped for upsell in form of drinks and extensions, and ripped off was a bit too much for me to totally enjoy the experience. It was definitely interesting and unusual, but not necessarily better than US strip clubs. There was no actual "lap dance" as such (the girl just sits on you, no grinding). They do try to waste your time by asking you to show them the pictures you took, exchange contact info (why? Etc. Again, seemed like it was designed to waste time and force the "extension" with the extension fee. It took me a sec to catch on, but eventually I did after visiting two other oppai clubs that night. Everything is designed to pump out as much money out of you as possible, every minute. Unless you are really rich and you simply don't care, it's hard to relax.
When I walked outside, there was someone else waiting for me to offer take me to another Oppai club, which I didn't realize. I thought it was one of the scummy touts / hawkers and ignored him when he tried to speak to me ("well, did you enjoy it? How was it? I realized only later that he was legit. These Oppai clubs pass you around like a cheap man-working girl (or as a simp) as long as you keep spending. See my next review in a separate post.
I went back across the street to Manzoku info center and asked for the next club. They were ready for me. As soon as I walked in, the guy looked at me and asked "Next? So it's normal. Instead of staying in same club and paying higher fee, you can just walk over back to Manzoku, go to a different club, and pay the intro rate, which is like half off. Anyway, Manzoku took me to Club Sexi, which was much worse than Luxe (separate review will be posted).
In general, it was reasonably fun and unusual and something I recommend you try at least once. But seemed pretty rip-offy, and the girls did maximum effort to separate you with max amount of money as quickly as possible, which reduced the enjoyment for me quite a bit. The feeling of being used and manipulated was too strong. I know Traveler X raves about those, but *in my personal experience*, girls did get pissed off if you didn't buy an extension or didn't buy them a drink. See my next review.
I went to three oppai clubs that night. Luxe, Sexi, and no-Enlish-name club in the basement. Posting separate reviews for other two.
It was my one and only experience with Oppai clubs in Tokyo. It was OK but the schedule didn't work (I was busy at night most of the time, and they are not open during the day AFAIK, starting at 6 pm and actually going at 8 pm). It probably would've been much better if I spoke Japanese.
Oppai Club Sexi. Worse than Luxe
This is the second club in my 'one night of oppai clubs'. I already posted my review for the first one. Luxe.
After Luxe I went back to Manzoku and they picked Sexi as the next club for me. They did ask me first if I could speak any Japanese at all, even a little. Unfortunately I speak like 10 words, that's it. Maybe better options would've been available. So it's not being white that seems to be the problem, more it's not being able to speak the language. Since Oppai is more about flirting than hardcore action, it seems to make sense.
Anyway, since Club Sexi was further away from Manzoku, they handed me over by meeting staff from that club half-way. Someone form Manzoku walked me half way to the club, where I met someone from Club Sexi, that took me there.
Another nice place, similar to Club Luxe. Similar prices, 8 k for initial 40 minutes through Manzoku booking (can't remember what it goes up to after that). Slightly cheaper drinks (2600 yen for cheaper one, 3900 for more expensive one). Only 2600 yen to extend a girl instead of 4 k. So initially seemed like a better deal.
Got seated, got my free beer, and first girl was there. Almost no English. She apologized for having to use a translator. She was hot. She immediately asked for a drink. I got her one. I asked her to get on my lap. She did. She kept talking / typing on the phone and wasn't taking her top off or kissing me. At all. Seemingly after 5 minutes she said her time was up and left. Pretty disappointing.
They brought out a second girl. Even hotter. I immediately asked her to get on lap. She did but immediately asked me for a drink. I was catching on and told her "not yet". She said "when". I said later. She immediately got off of my lap and set next to me pouting. She said "nobody ever refused to buy me a drink". OK, FML. Then she just chatted via translator for another minute. Kept asking me to show her the pictures I took and kept asking me to exchange our contact info on WhatsApp and line. I was catching on that it was just time-wasting tactics.
So again. No boobies, no kissing. At least I didn't waste money on a drink for that one.
They bring out 3rd girl. Again, very hot. This one is finally more flirty, starts kissing me, I pull her tube top down a bit to play with her perfect boobies. She immediately asks me for a drink (surprise). I tell her to get just one cheap one. She does. We kiss a bit more and I play with her boobies a bit more. Finally I got some play. Pretty quickly she tells me her time is up and I need to extend if I want to play longer. FML, what did they have - 4 girls in 40 minutes or something? It's only 2600 yen, so I say sure. At least I am getting some play. After another 5 minutes or so she tells me her time is up unless I want to extend again, and my 40 minutes is up so I'd have to buy another 40 minutes at the club.
I decide it's even more rip-offy than Luxe. Also at Sexi they were very annoying by not letting you run a tab. They literally made me pay every time I got a girl a drink or extended. It was very annoying dealing with bills and coins while there is a chick on your lap with her boobs out. Also more wasted time. And made it harder to keep track how much I spent. I think I spent less than 8 k total on extending + drink in addition to 8 k for entry, so only 16 k total here. But I got a lot less play than in Luxe. Only one out of three girls actually played.
When I walked out back to the lobby, they had two guys waiting for me and offered to take me to yet another oppai club for 6 k for 40 minutes if I want with them right now. OK, sure. I mean I knew they were legit since they were inside of Club Sexi, right by the cashier. So they were just passing cash cow down the line.
We walked a few blocks and ended up in the basement of a club with no English name visible. All Japanese only. That will be a separate review.
