finally, i got done with my first stint at mongering in los and here's the report -

landed at about 11.45 pm at suvarnabhoomi airport and cleared immigration within 5 minutes, baggage arrived in another 15 and i was in the taxi within 30 minutes of landing at bkk. off we go to livingstones - i had directions from helpful seniors here like at2 and pit - and also the beautiful map from ll website for the taxi driver to look at.

Nice writeup. You have scratched the surface, but there's much much more. I would suggest going to NEP, Soi Cowboy and possibly even Patpong, even if just to swing by and look for about 30 minutes each. You will see what is on display, get the vibe and have some knowledge of the quantity and quality of girls available in BKK and will know where these places are.

Everyone has different tastes and you may find them no different or you may find some there that might be your 9 or 10. Do this on your first full night. You can always book your girl that you had and go back to her, after you have seen the sights. And yes, you can get a girl for 2K baht all night at any venue. It's a YMMV world and depends on you and the girl. Some of the beer bars are also fun, like the Bamboo bar, Hillary Bars, Gullivers, etc.

I did once a few years ago, but without offering money. The results were disappointing. Either they told me the girl was married in Switzerland, or she was visiting her mom.
