I once went to the parking to pick a girl who was going to dine there with me, she arrived in a taxi. She was stopped by security who requested her ID and checked if she was registered.

Another time I get a call from the lobby. "There is a girl that claims is here to see you. " I adked her name and it is ok to let her in. They told me I have to register her as a guest, it was $60 US plus taxes (I was staying in the VIP area). Based on my experience Barcelo is the least guest friendly hotel I have ever been.

Some of the old timers from the Jaragua work the casino at the Lina (Barcelo). If they don't pay security regularly enough the don't get access to the hotel rooms. Some of them aren't allowed in under any circumstances. It's a quick taxi trip up to the Chinese cabañas near the cemetery. FYI it's much easier to get girls into the Embajador but of course it's a little off the beaten track and cost quite a bit more than Lina. Tabu II off the entrance had a deal for many years that gave its girls access to the Embajador guest rooms. Some business travelers who had to be discreet would use the sofas in the back of the club behind a curtain.

Had a short visit of only 2 nights. Stayed in the Crowne Plaza due to past proximity to the local take out bars. I guess my visits have been too spread out as I discovered they are all closed. So Its time to update the old maps. I didn't let this stop me. Found a delicious MILF and spent some time with her, all the positions. The next night I went the other direction and found a sweet 22 YO with no baby damage (kinda rare in the DR), she was less interested but it is still fun to enjoy a body of that age. As usual a good time was had by me. I may post some photos, but my camera was suffering from too much background light.

Like everywhere else in Latin America, New Year's Eve is a family holiday. Clubs and restaurants have shorter opening hours and some don't open at all. Three Kings' Day is a big shopping day, mostly children's toys. Casas have shorter hours and fewer girls because many of them head to "the interior" to be with family. You can have fun but you will have more fun if you have prior contacts with girls from the capital.
