Leaving Angeles today to return to the province after a couple of days. I've always taken the Swagman bus back to Manila. Today they threw us in an 11 passenger van. The air con is horrible and the seats are made for 5'5" inch Filipino males. I'm about 6'1" 215 pounds and fortunately have 2 seats but that's still not nearly enough room. If I had somebody sitting in the seat next to me, I would have gotten off of this "bus". I guess the other people on this soon to be hell trip aren't familiar with the relative comfort of the bus. If I'd have known it was going to be this shitty van, I'd have made other arrangements.
I'm not nearly your size, but big enough that I would find the cramping intolerable. I guess that's why I prefer to pay the Php2,700 for a van or car--typically shared with one other guy--to bring me to Pampanga. The cramping would be especially unnerving if, before hitting the NLEX, you've got the nightmare of Manila's endless traffic jams to deal with as you went your way slowly toward Cavite.
They said the pay is $200 per month +free transportation and free accommodation. I told them min $400 is necessary because with $200 she cannot support her family. They went and asked the Saudi guy but he refused saying maybe after she starts the job. I told the girl to decline the offer and get her passport back.
Sammon,
Some additional information for you to show you that she was being scammed etc is from the Gulf News in the UAE that ran a half page article about Filipina maids and visas, as the minimum wage is $400, with a day off each week plus protection. The is a 'dispute' between the 2 countries on the contracts and many bemoan the fact that Filipina maids are not available because "less the least trouble and have the best grasp of English".
The fact that other nations are banning maids to the Middle East tells you a lot about why the girls want to work for western not Arab or Indian families in the region.
So if you are in contact with the person let her know, as DH work in the Middle East for a local family especially is not recommended.
Seems IJM not really care about those people even though many reports of bad treatment (ILO did a report a few years ago for example).

It usually goes bad 1 in 6 or 7 when the woman simply lies or simply is not into it then I give them 500 pesos and a map to the door. NEVER PAY FOR BAD SERVICE.
Please elaborate! Are you giving them money without sticking your dick in one of their holes?
Was wondering what happened to you Chris, glad you're safe and thanks for the update. I'm planning to return again in late Sep or Oct, but not sure yet if I'll swing thru AC. If I do, I plan to hit HiSo and try my luck. Did it seem any better at certain hours, like after most of the other bars closed?
Yes definitely better later at night. Unfortunately for me September and October are no go months for me, the best I can do during that time of year are three or four day weekend trips to Tijuana the DR or SJ.

AC= twilight zone
Theres different strategies used to approach AC, but I agree that to get a good GFE you need to show them a good bfe.
I've never been mongering where I need to be on my "best" behavior meaning I have to dress well, be entertaining, and look super clean. Usually its the other way around & usually this tactic is for real daing.
But when in Rome do as the Romans do. I've been dressing casually and hygenic of course, but now I will step it up a bit and see if there are any differences in experiences. Wish me luck.

Good luck and stay classy. I'll be there the for a few weeks starting the first week of July. Contact me and I'll PM anyone with my contact info.

Guys dress in basic wear. Pants, plain shirt, and shoes. Plain clothes will do. Nothing dressy is necessary.
Guys of every race, shape, drunk, old, young, dressed in flip flops, shorts and t-shirts can and do get girls. Its about your attitude.
Maybe you need a few drinks. Loosen up. Let your personality out, look for the girls who smile at you, are receptive to you. That's all it takes.

I was sitting in the restaurant there having breakfast and at 11:45 am They announced the bus was boarding. No big deal. Let me finish breakfast and pay the bill and the female ticket taker was rushing me to get on the bus. I told her it was 11:45 am Not 12:00 pm And I'd board before departure. No big deal. About 3 minutes before departure I went outside and no bus! I asked the guard where the bus was and he pointed to two vans. I had no choice as I needed to be at my house out in the province by 5:00 pm Fortunately I made it here by 4:15 pm.
I'm not a 1 or 2 week millionaire anymore. I'm retired, live here and can no longer blow a big wad knowing I'm returning to USA where I'm just going to make alot more. Hmmmmmmm, 600 php vs. 3,000 php for a ride to Manila? Yeah, why on earth would I do that? Now I'll be keeping Southern Cross bus in mind for a back up.

Second advice. Join ISG
Thanks for all the great advice and constructive criticism from everyone. I will try to put all of the great advice into my repatraur or however you spell that. I needed that cause my AC newbness was bringing my experience down.
I loved Thailand and China, but I'm really digging the GFE and routine std checks that bar girls get here in Philippines.
Hey Chris, I'm don't have the PM function as I am a free member. I would love to grab a quick drink and talk shop if you're still interested. Anyone here in AC is welcome to join us if Chris doesn't mine. FYI I'm the chubby azn guy who speaks perfect English. I'm not hard to miss unless you can't tell azns apart.
DG8787, forgive me if I didn't get your handle correctly, I employing your advice ad we speak. I've been buidling a relationship with a waitress / mamasan and she plans to help me tonight. I should tip her too.
I was planning to l leave for subic bay tomorrow, but if the meet up and the mamasan thing works out I may stay longer. Anyone heard of any good things about subic?
I am on the ground in subic and coming back to AC Thursday. Get a membership and then pm me.
Can't tell you much about Subic, as my first night here (Monday) I chatted up a waitress at the first bar and struck GOLD! 9/10 21 yo from the province way far away. Her first few days here, didn't even know what the rate is! Not that I cheap Charlied her. She had a goal in mind to help family with medical cost. She has been with me for 3 days. Will be sending her home tomorrow with the medical payment. Not a whole lot of money but worth it to me.
P.S.: I am over 18 years old and admit that by tipping more than P100/ day that I have unbalanced the market place.

I will get full membership ASAP. Most likely I'll be in Subic / Olongapo today. So, if you're interested we can get a quick drink and shoot shop. No worries, if you see me and don't feel like chatting.
Chris long. I'm still interested in a meet up. Hopefully our schedules meet up for a quick drink. If not thank you for your advice and understanding my situation. There isn't alot of sympathy on ISG forum. Nice to hear from good peoples. So you frequent Tijuana, me too. I use to go to Adelitas but not I use SW.
Lord Bastian I might hit you up if I'm still in the area. I will be leaving the phils at the end of the first week of July. Hopefully ill be a full member by then.
Anyone have a quick opinion about Baguio? If its worth a trip compared to going to Subic or Sabang?
Thanks

I'd be going the Victory liner route if I were needing a bus. Too cold, too fast but at least you get what you pay for.
and routine std checks that bar girls get here in Philippines.
Do NOT rely too much on those. We all know that efficiency and Philippines are two words that don't often share the same sentence.
Do not assume that if a girl has an STD check she's safe.
Do not assume it was actually her that did the test. Girl using her I'd happens a lot.
Do not assume the doctor / lab processed the results correctly as they don't get paid a lot to do STD's by the batch.
Do not assume anything and accept full responsibility for your actions.
