The Orchid at domestic airport is very much girl friendly. The best thing is to take the girl to the coffee shop from where you have direct access to the rooms.

I agree. Those who say its not girl friendly have not tried the coffee shop / midnight buffet place of the first floor. In fact the couch and elevator is placed in such a way that makes this hotel extremely girl friendly. Obviously, if someone walks up to the reception and declares their arrival, its going to get unfriendly.
