Bangkok Reports

I am in Bangkok and am shocked how the bar / women situation has deteriorated over a few short years-prices are through he roof, the women are geriatric, and the attitudes are horrible. The previous report tries to sound all optimistic but if you read what he actually says, he feels the same way as I do. Thailand has gone to the dogs-globalization, economic prosperity, American pressure, Thakin's sister' feminism, and so forth-there is really only one descent destination left and it will be gone soon too. Am I being too pessimistic? I think not.

The bars in both Nana and Soi Cowboy want bar fine 600 plus 4000 overnight-about $150 US! It should be about $40. Who is paying that kind of money? And we are surprised the attitudes are frequently not so good?

The previous poster should have dragged the girl back to the bar and asked for his money back or a new girl. Otherwise, they act uncooperative to turn long time into shorttime. The bar still gets 600 and the girl gets 2000 for 30 minutes. We lose.

Yes it would be nice if the price for a fuck is 40$. But this is not the case in Thailand now, sad but true. Has never been since I have visited the country. For 40$ one is not able to get a nice girl from the bar, at least not me as a tourist. And why the hell should I care about the costs for 4 days visit. A good fuck is worth 4000 bath + barfine for me-allways.

I had mostly nice attitudes from the girls. 1 one out of 3 was bad. 2/3 were still supernice!

The biggest problem in Thailand now are the arabs and indians, they were all over the damn place.

Waaaaayyyy overpriced and girls with shitty attitudes. It's a gamble whether or not you will get good service. Girls will rarely go LT in Bangkok. If you want LT go to Pattaya where girls are cheaper and have better attitudes. I only go to the MPs for p4p now. Plenty of pretty girls willing to please with great attitudes and service to match. The price is much lower than the go-go bar girls as well.

I'm done with Thailand, methinks. After living there for 4 years I have seen the downhill slide and it's only going to get worse and pricier for mongers. I'm on my way to China next month where the girls are still pretty but the prices are much lower (or so I've read).

As I remember it, there were always a lot of dogs (fuglies) dancing on stage in BKK Go Go's, but it seems to me Baccara and Rainbow bars have always had a few lookers too. I will admit though, I thought Baccara Feb. 2010 had a better selection than Baccara Feb. 2011. But maybe I feel this way because in 2010 I met a real cutie with amazing little conical breasts that I fell for hard. She was almost a 9* and there were two others girls in Baccara 2010 that I dug almost as much. Keeping track of their schedules so none of the girls knew what I was doing with the other ones was not easy. In 2011, I found better looking girls at La Belle than Cowboy.

On prices: I can't remember when Go Go girls asked for less than 1500bt to 2000bt for ST. The barfines have gone up slowly over the years, but the real change is the value of the BAHT. $100 used to equal 4000bt. I think the first bar fine I paid in BKK way back in '89 was 300bt and if memory serves me I think paid 3000bt for LT. Funny, I still remember my first time.

Gals in China are whiter, taller, and better looking, and service is hit and miss, not the GFE you used to get in Thailand. The freelance P4P has gone downhill over the past few years in BKK. The lookers who speak English are working on the internet now and I can't blame them. Great looking gals in the GoGos, but 125 USD for a short time? Give me a break. Of course there are plenty of tourist out there who are willing to pay this insane sum. Oilies and soapies are all that is left.

Pattaya I hear is a different story, but I have never found the girls there to be as attractive. Not a fan of dark skinned simian gals.

i've posted these numbers before, but i think they deserve mentioning again: st 2000 + barfine 600 + drinks 300 (minimum) + st hotel 300 = 3200 baht (a bit over $100). really not worth it for 30-40 minutes of fucking. to put it in perspective, at an oily such as mango you'll pay massage 800 + sex 1500 = 2300 baht and you get to fuck the girl as many times as you want, and she will usually have a better attitude.

sometimes i wish bangkok had something like pattaya's soi 6, where you could fuck a girl for 1000 baht all-in and be in and out in less than an hour. the cheapest fucks in bangkok, to my recollection, are the following:

biergaarden. 1000 st + 300 for the short time room = 1300.

You did not make any mistakes. The only problem you have is the one most people have. Time.

If you do not have the time to get to know the place, the girls etc. You are left with a simple choice, you have to pay a lot of money to get a decent looking girl late at night.

Lots more choice around early in the evening but the later it gets the less choice you have as its only the more expensive options left as of course they get the least customers as nobody really wants to pay that much in Thailand.

CM2 / Insomnia etc. Are all higher cost (not better service in most cases) girls. Climax (soi 11) is the best option after 1am to 3am as the Karaoke girls and others go into there. You can get a decent girl for 2000B. There are a few decent looking girls at Thermae as well if you are Asian (or a decent looking farang who can speak Thai)

I asked a blonde called Milla how much it would be. She asked for 2000 THB, which would last one song. I politely refused. Based on these prices I don't think that these girls (ranging from 7 to 9s) would agree for more, except you are really a big spender.

Around midnight I took a cab to CM2. 650 THB got me in and two drinks. The clubs was quite empty (which wouldn't change for the whole evening) and the band on stage continued to massacre one bad pop song after another. Seriously, if I had known that you can be this bad and still get gigs I would have never stopped my jodeling sessions in church school. But I wasn't there for the music, I wanted love, Balkan style. Unfortunately the Eastern European ladies there were undergoing various stages of reverse metamorphosis. Usually during metamorphosis an ugly worm turns into a beautiful butterfly. Ladies from the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe undergo this reversely, usually starting the transformation around 25, skipping the next 20 years, directly turning into 45. Yes, you had a few cute ones around but I think this was partly because the lighting was in their favour and I didn't have my glasses on.

The reason I stayed were the funny middle aged Indian guys throwing doing ridiculous dances whenever they could. I respect people who don't give a damn about what others might think and just have fun. So I watched the guys dance and tried to understand the place. What surprised me most was that none of the Russian ladies seemed to make and effort to approach somebody. Most would just sit there, looking bored, old and simply out of place. No smiles, nothing. But still guys would approach them! It should be said however that none (NONE!) of the Eastern Europe fraction left the club with a client. The guys would whisper something to them, the ladies would whisper back (the price I assumed) which led to an instant retreat of a head shaking guy. The best part was when I heart the fattest one of all (last stage of reverse metamporphosis) clearly asking for 6000 THB.

It would have been no problem to pick up a nice Thai lady. You had some stunners there, smiling at you, stepping closer, but I still had my head set on Eastern Europe. So around 2. 30pm I moved on to Nana Liquid. Big mistake. Just bad. No girl above 5, not even the bad light could hide some of the uggies. Within 5 minutes I was out.

Getting tired and discarding my dreams of a big breasted blondie I went on to Insomnia. 300 THB entry, one free drink. The club was full, the music too loud and you had stunners everywhere. Seriously, some of them looked like they stepped out of a music video. I was walking around nodding to a few girls, getting smiles and slowly the terrible memories of Liquid started to fade away. A small cutie dancing on a podest smiled at me, I smiled back and she kept the eye contact while moving her body in various suggestive ways. I just stood there and enjoyed the show. A few songs later she came down and we talked a bit. No idea what she said or what her name was (it was just too loud) but I didn't care, there was enough promising body contact. Unfortunately one of her friends came over and it looked like they were all moving so I said goodbye and moved on.

I think this is the point when things got. Weird. Next one was a girl with that Korean girly look. She just stood in the corner and sipped on her drink. She smiled, I smiled and things looked promising. We exchanged the usual pleasantries, while drinking and looking at the dance floor. Then I asked her what she wanted to do next and she said / yelled 'Go with you? ' which I found promising. But first we moved on to the dance floor where the first blowback came: She was a terrible dancer. Insisting on my point I manage to convince her to take 2000 THB. But then she talks about a 500 THB tip. Brain is starting to win the control fight. I tell her that we should discuss things in my hotel room because again. I don't have that much time (and my balls are swollen from all the previous ass grindings treatment). She says ok lets go. 5 meters later she says, 'Hey, lets eat first! '. Brain has control again. I tell the girl goodbye and move on. She just stands there and yells 'Honey! Where you go? Honey! '.

My advice. GOGO bars are a ripoff

I live in Bangkok and have been coming here for about 15 years.

Here is my opionion on the scene here:

First the go go bars are purely for moneyed tourists and I consider them now to be a complete ripoff.

Things started changing for the worse about 5 years ago.

The girls have gotten more greedy and mercenery. Prices for drinks (150-200 baht) are comparable to the West.

I do not see why anybody should or would buy a "ladydrink" especially now that they are so expensive. If a girl is going to force you to buy a ladydrink so she sits with you then how do you think her attitude will be in bed? It is like throwing your money away. The whole go-go scene is now set up to getting as much money for drinks out of customers possible instead of providing an enjoyable atmosphere where the customer would want to buy drinks and be there.

There are far better options available for fun but it seems all the newbies gravitate to the gogos because of their reputation. Which should in my opinion be declining.

I would say prices for everything in the gogos (drinks, barfines, ST, LT rates) have doubled in the last 10 years.

And Long time is now NOT the normal.

On the other hand, the massage parlor scene is where it is at. You get a set amount of time 90min-2 hours, can size the girl up and talk to her beforehand in the light without loud music, and best of all. No buying of overpriced drinks necessary!

That are a few dozen places to choose from around Bangkok and the prices and quality varies. But I will say that you can find some nice 20 year old hotties in the massage parlors. By contrast. The gogos are dominated by used up skanks. But I guess the gogo girls look good to guys coming from the West where girls dress like men and resemble farm animals with their fatness.

Check out thaimassagemodel. Com for some info a some of the nicer places.

Avoid the few that have foreigner surcharges- Utopia, Emanuelle, Caesars, La Belle, La Defense, and Posiden.

I don't go to the discos at all but if I did, I would get drunk beforehand at home so I do not have to buy overpriced drinks.

As you can tell, I think drink prices in Bangkok have gotten out of hand and your money would be better spent on other things.

I've never gone for 2000 ST. Not once. The last two times I went ST in Patpong, I paid 2000 including BF and hotel, at Thigh Bar. Of course if everyone starts paying 2000, they'll end up asking for 2500.

I guess the only reason I'm still paying 1500 is that there must be a silent majority of price-conscious mongers who aren't pushovers and don't bother with forums.
