And if you're airport staff you get 10% discount when you show your I D. There are two DDF in terminal 3 (one each side as you go out) and 1 in terminal 1, never been to T2. There is DDF in the new airport at Dubai World Central also.
i guess its a assumption that at duty free they are supposed to sell to whomsoever, but at murep001 duty free they do ask you whether are you a muslim and if yes, advise that it is not possible to buy for gifting to friends. this has happened to one of my friends.

Stayed at Crowne Plaza Deira. All OK. Slightly worn look to it but service and pool etc all good.
First night. Went to York's. Haven't been for some years now but it looks exactly the same to me. I got there after leaving another evening do, it was around 2. 30am.
