ST service in Baccara and Rainbow Bars is now 2000bt. It has been this way since at least 2010. The barfine is 900bt in Baccara and 600bt in Rainbow. IMHO, these Go Go's have the best looking Go Go girls in BKK. Honestly, I think most of the girls are subpar, but I always find at least 2 or 3 girls per bar / per night that measure up and that I find attractive. The trick is finding out if they are into having a good time before you take them home. Now if some of you guys want spend time to negotiate a girl down to 1500bt be my guest. I am not doubting your truthfulness, but I am questioning how often the negotiations end successfully especially in the early part of the evening – 8pm to 10pm and then if successful result in good sex. I feel that bargaining with a girl for any length of time kills the vibe not only for the girl but more importantly for me as well. Look I am in Asia to have a good time not count my Baht or Pesos. I really do not think anything I do affects the marketplace. I am a price taker not a market maker. Again I say if the exchange rate was in the dollar's favor and 4000bt were equal to $100 this issue would be mute for most. But, some would still complain even if the exchange rate were 6000bt to a $100. Check the AC forum where some complain about 1500p EWR.

So in the end I don't give a shit if the rate is 1500bt or 2000bt. What I care about is: 1. Finding a really attractive girl in the sea of UGH. 2. Determining as quickly as possible if she is up for showing me a good time, and 3. Having a good time! I am pretty good at 1, 2 & 3. And that is why I still have a lot of fun in the Go Go's. I like massage parlors too. It is good to mix things up, but I still enjoy going out to Cowboy, having a few beers, watching the sea of pussy before me, and picking up one of the hottest looking girls in the bar and having a good time with her.

One of the good things about this forum is that it informs us about what is the prevailing market price of pussy in a given city and venue. I don't like being taken advantage of or cheated, but as long as I am paying market prices and getting good service in return; I refuse to let inflation and pricing trends get me down or spoil my fun. I work hard and I will spend my money the way I want to. When I am in AC I spend 1500/3000p for LT EWR and I have a great time. When I am in Macau I pay 2100hk in the high end saunas for ST model quality Chinese girls and I have a great time. And in Bangkok when I frequent the Go Go's I spend 2000bt + 600 (900bt) barfine and have a great time. By the way, in the high end Soapies the prices for the really pretty girls start at 2600bt and go to over 6000bt for ST. Good thing I normally find the mid level girls the sexiest.

I know there are less expensive places to go and there is always haggling price or settling for less attractive girls. And there are always anomalies in the market place like finding a really sexy FL for 1000bt LT in the Nana parking lot. BKK is a big city. To each his own.

Here is my opionion on the scene here:

First the go go bars are purely for moneyed tourists and I consider them now to be a complete ripoff.

Things started changing for the worse about 5 years ago.

The girls have gotten more greedy and mercenery. Prices for drinks (150-200 baht) are comparable to the West.

I do not see why anybody should or would buy a "ladydrink" especially now that they are so expensive. If a girl is going to force you to buy a ladydrink so she sits with you then how do you think her attitude will be in bed? It is like throwing your money away. The whole go-go scene is now set up to getting as much money for drinks out of customers possible instead of providing an enjoyable atmosphere where the customer would want to buy drinks and be there.

There are far better options available for fun but it seems all the newbies gravitate to the gogos because of their reputation. Which should in my opinion be declining.

I would say prices for everything in the gogos (drinks, barfines, ST, LT rates) have doubled in the last 10 years.

And Long time is now NOT the normal.

On the other hand, the massage parlor scene is where it is at. You get a set amount of time 90min-2 hours, can size the girl up and talk to her beforehand in the light without loud music, and best of all. No buying of overpriced drinks necessary!

That are a few dozen places to choose from around Bangkok and the prices and quality varies. But I will say that you can find some nice 20 year old hotties in the massage parlors. By contrast. The gogos are dominated by used up skanks. But I guess the gogo girls look good to guys coming from the West where girls dress like men and resemble farm animals with their fatness.

If you build a lot of rapport with the girl it's 'easier' to get 1500, but so many of these girls have been SPOILED by guys (mostly docile japs and stupid tourists) who just lay out 2000-2500 fot ST without a fight.
