in summary, i had an interesting experience although a bit expensive. what is a bit surprising though is that the ladies are so short-term oriented and lacking any kind of "feel" for what could be a good and long-term customer. on the other hand, the trade is rough so in a way i understand them. one rupee in the pocket today is of course better than two potential rupees tomorrow.
i travel a lot and even if the trade is rough also in thailand and the philippines, i have often experienced ladies there with a very good feel for what could be a long-term customer. perhaps it was a mistake not bringing one of them here.
maybe i insult the local brothers on this site, but i have not experienced that short-term attitude so much in my work. but on the other hand i have not penetrated that deeply into the real culture yet just as little into any sri lankan lady.
