I'm planning a trip to Jakarta. I see that Saturday November 9th is the Prophet Muhammed's birthday and a bank holiday in Indonesia. Does anyone know whether places like Malio and Classic will be closed? And whether any other days are affected, or just the 9th?

Well, now I am a Badoo convert. Was chatting up a couple of girls and one was really warm and sweet. 22 year old, really cute photos. We switched to WhatsApp and continued to flirt. Malioboro is the same price as Classic and Travel for the cheapest local girls in the place, but can be up to 4 times higher priced for a "top quality" local girl. The imports at Malioboro are even more expensive. Of course, Classic and Travel have only local girls, no imports.

Brothers, who are Baptized by Badoo! Trying out Badoo after reading all those positive reviews. I guess I would need to buy the subscription and while checking, came across two options. 1 Buy premium membership of different duration and 2 add credits.

I don't really need to boost my profile but just want ability to send msgs. Which one would you pro Badoo mongers suggest and how does asking them "how much would turn out". Just going by tinder and seeking arrangement experience.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Well I arrived and it is a Sunday. Decided on an evening meal at Eastern Promise. Arrived about 9 pm. The chicken Madras was top notch. Had some Bintangs and moved to the front bar. Had some duo cover acoustic band that was actually pretty good. Stayed to past 11 pm and did not see any single ladies file in. As I was near, popped over to Blok M to have a look. It was pretty dead outside. Went into the's about 11:30. 2 groups of guys. 1 group of four and a group of 2. Fairly young. Even less ladies. One decided to come up and speak to me. Do you remember the landlady from the movie Kingpin? Well she instantly reminded me of that. I gave her some money as she was pleasant and I felt bad for her. I did not even think about My Place after that. The best entertainment was with the touts and freelancers at the north end of the street. Had a laugh and joke with them. I am here for a while. I don't think I will return to blok M. But EP is a nice place to have a few drinks if you are not mongering. I will update here on what else I find. Home alone but not on a time limit.

Did you have to verify your profile photo? Badoo asked me to scan in a govt photo ID to verify that my profile was not fake. I'm not sure if this was because of fraud prevention software or a complaint but I was very reluctant to send in this info and didn't do it. Currently my account is blocked until I prove my ID.

Badoo. Get a premium subscription. DON'T buy credits. I get along fine without them. They will try to entice you to buy credits, but I find it not necessary. I have so many prospects, I have trouble organizing them. Good luck.

The 'stans' are not the same.
