Fellow mongers,
Try out the apartment girls. Ask you friendly taxi driver to take you. There should be 40-60 girls available in a large room for your perusal. The price is 3000 overnight. suggest go early.
Enjoy
Hey,
I'm new to this, so I don't know exactly what to do. My friend told me about this site, but that was it. He's not really into Filipinas, but I am. What do you guys think about the women? Can anyone lead me in the right direction?
How do they look?
How do I get into contact with them?
What should I be aware of?
Is it strictly business? They don't reveal anything about their personal lives, do they?

bill...go to LA cafe and ask one of the girls. They'll know where it is...not sure if they'll be able to give you understandable directions though. You can always take them with you!
Sorry, I don't know the exact location. There is one you can see from the Malate Church/fountain. There is also one in Ermita...mabye on Mabini down toward Rizal Park.

It is on the other side of the park next to Aristocrat on Roxas Bl. But, why would you want to go there? A driver once took us there because we wanted to listen to music and didn't know where to go. The entertainment was average and it looked like a bunch of driver-type people in there.
However, the driver was propositioned several times by girls and pimps while waiting for us. I've walked through the park and had several propositions but never really looked at the girls.

Hi Bill,
I was in Cowboy Grille last Monday nite, but only for about 15 minutes. It's a spacious Music Bar/Live band restaurant that caters mainly for the locals.
Dosug already has given the address - its on the corner of Mabini and Arquiza in Emrita, only a block away from Robinson's Plaza.
At the time I was there, there were only locals dining/drinking at tables and listening to the Live band. I could not see of any action, but that might have to do with the time of my visit, ie. Monday nite at 10.30 pm.
Perhaps when the tables get cleared in the middle section on the ground floor and the place changes into more of a Bar/dancing kind of venue, things might be quite different!
Cheers,
Joel

X, I stayed in Bayview Park Hotel, Ermita.
-
Mattrick,
I might as well post my reply here.
I booked the hotel via http://www.asiatravel.com for 75 US per nite for a suite. Maybe a little on the expensive side - another guy I met in the plane going to Manila was staying at the same hotel for only half the price, US$ 37 for a standard room. Maybe he found a cheaper website, asiatravel quotes for the standard room US$ 45.
Bayview is a good hotel, has friendly staff and great coffees, ie. it has a Starbucks on the ground floor. Another good thing about it is its central location and proximity to the Ermita nitelife. A lot of the action - the freelancer bars and other - is only within 5 to 10 minutes walking from the hotel. Also the Swagman hotel is just round the corner of it, where you could book possible trips to Angeles.
When I arrived the first night I was a bit wary of the fact that the hotel did not have any in-room safes. It has safety deposit boxes -they give you a key- at the reception for the most important stuff like passports, but what about expensive handphones?
I hid the thing somewhere in the room before I went out the first time, but as it turned out, it was no prob at all having someone over LT. The security at night is excellent. They record the ID and roomnumber of any girl before she enters the hotel and also the reception takes a note. When the girl is leaving, security calls back and ask you politely if it is okay for her to leave.
Mind you, they only to these security readings at nite time. When i brought girls in during the daytime, no ID's were taken. So I guess, if you are stayin at this hotel and you don't trust the girl, don't fall asleep during the daytime or sleep in big time!
I'll attach a pic.
One more thing, I had not visited Manila before, but I deliberately choose for this hotel because I wanted to stay at a central location in Ermita. Having seen the action in both Ermita and Makati now, my perception is that Ermita -compared to Makati- is more the rougher end of town. For more upmarket entertainment, in terms of quality of the girls/prices/etc., Makati will be a better choice.
Cheers,
Joel

Hey X, some additional pharmacy info.
Thanks to Hobby's reply, I asked around for Mercury drugstore. I found one close to the hotel, on TM Kalaw. That's the road that runs parallel to UN ave.
At the counter I simply asked for the antibiotics I wanted, a single dose of Zithromax and Ciproxin, and also asked for a tablet Viagra. Got it all, no prescription, no questions asked!
The Viagra tablet, 50mg, cost me 615 Pesos. I also asked the price for Cialis, and was quoted 700 Pesos.
In one of the bars, the price for a package of Cialis costs 1,200 Pesos. A street seller quoted me for a same package 300 Pesos, but I find that price hard to believe. Rather prefer to buy it at Mercury, eventhough it is more expensive.
Funny thing was, when I checked at Watson drug, at Mabini/Padre Faura, they did not want to sell Cialis/Viagra without a prescription!
Joel.

Bill, the girls will be able to tell you, no doubt.
I think the Sogo will cost you 200 Pesos, but I haven't been there.
Amazonia hotel, across the road from LA Cafe, has rooms upstairs. The rooms are 550 for 3 hours, are clean and have shower and TV. These rooms are actually quite nice for a ST hotel.
Amazonia has also what they call VIP rooms, but there is absolutely nothing "VIP" about it. No bed, only chairs/couch and a lousy bathroom. I think these rooms cost 300 pesos.
There's another short time hotel available, on Mabini. Pls see my post in the photo gallery. Costs 450, clean but no shower in the room.
If you don't mind spending an extra 100 Pesos, it might be better to choose a ST room in Amazonia.
Joel.
Only problem with Cowboy Grill is that they only serve San Mig in large bottles or pitchers, no small bottles like us foreigners enjoy swiging out of.
Im staying at Bayview hotel on Saturday for my last three nights. Will be with my gf so safes are not an issue. Got a superior room for $60.00.
My gf sister was in a jeepney going home to Quezon City from la cafe last night and the jeepney got held up. She lost her cellfone (1 week old) and 7k pesos.
Went to this shorttime hotellast week. very clean and cost was about 600p for 3 hours. The stime hotel was called Victoria Court.
Now in Cebu and the crumpet here looking very pleasing to the eye. I think the filopino guys here are uglier than their manila counterparts. No wonder the girls want a foreigner.
