When someone does it this way it looks like they're just chiming in to take sides and hopes to get in the last word in for that side. You know, like it didn't really bother them until it was clear the poster who started it was getting his ass handed to him for it 😉

I am an American living abroad and I know I and many of the other Americans working at my business feel the need to push back whenever we see right wing nonsense being spouted by an American. It's about not wanting the beliefs of all Americans being represented by the current republican party, which has lost its mind. These people are the minority, but Trump's election and the news tends to focus attention on the nutcases in that party. They are the minority and they are a decreasing minority as Americans wake up to what they are.
That said, it is annoying to click on a topic hoping to hear about some spinner who will drain your balls dry for 1000 bht and instead read 5 posts about American politics.
I guess I'm saying that I can see both sides. As an American, I don't want right wing lies to show up on an international forum misrepresenting who Americans are, but I also want to read about sex and not politics.
So let's hug it out and move on. Who has some pics?

Who has some pics?[/QUOTE]Let me provide my 2 cents or as indicate " push back a bit " as an individual living abroad in Thailand one of the hardest things to leave behind is what one has learned and taken for granted in this case the freedom to speak and push back regardless of one political position or views. Here I get stereotypes I hear stuff from locals and even more from foreigners because they don't think I understand Thai or they think I'm a local. I can walk around all day pissed but you learn how to pick and choose when to speak. Being an Asian American speaking out giving my two cents it takes many people back here because they don't expect it.
Before I continue a reminder a simple push that these threads were created Rant, General, so people can get things off their chest if you don't want to read or be annoyed then as a businessman you should have enough sense to figure out what is the best thread to get your balls drained.
We are all human at times so self-righteous that we want to lecture thereafter do exactly what they are lecturing others not to do! Your views on what Americans like or don't etc etc!
I came here pretty much as far left as you can get particularly in social programs in helping people but I've always felt government doesn't need to spend tax dollars like a drunken sailor that being said that particular view puts in after years more in the middle or moderate as they call us. But unless you live on an island, not every American living abroad is liberal or democrats, and think the way you think when it comes to lies I don't think GOP has a patent on the nonsense that is happening in the country. I don't think left-wing nonsense should also show up misrepresenting Americans which I happen to be one. To be honest the reason we have the mess is that people with your views are so narrow they aren't willing to compromise or see the big picture that they don't live on an island it is my way or the highway.

If you were paying attention to actual spending, you would know the GOP has spent much more than democrats over the last 30 years, and they've done it mostly on wars and tax breaks, both of which help nobody but rich people. The Trump tax breaks for the middle class quickly expired but those for the rich live on. That was by design.
But it's true that I did not take into account the feelings of conservatives enough when making my post. I guess I would say that democrats are definitely not perfect, but at least they aren't republicans. The honorable republican party, the party that I voted for often when I was younger, is dead.
