Horseshit
Hes a guy who pops up now and again, spews his stuff, trolls a lot, says what he thinks (usually before thinking) and then retreats to see the ripple effect his words have. He seems to be upset with life and his lot in life and generally has a highly caustic, cynical, got screwed approach to life in Philoppines.
Hes also got an envy complex about western white mongers as seen in his words.
His last post was unreadable for me, yet he has a number of brownosers here that like his grandiose horseshit. Unbeliveable.
All mongers should be required to watch "My Thai Bride" before visiting SE Asia... http://youtu.be/YOjYsha6Hr8
Do I have to even say it? Ok, I will. The protagonist of the film was an idiot. A nice enough bloke I guess, but a complete moron.
Rule #1 in life not just punting: Hold on to your assets. Never give anybody control over your finances, bank account, brokerage account, or property assets. If something sounds too good to be true, IT IS! Money is power, independence, freedom, health, and good times in honky tonk bars. I don't care if you are in love with a Thai or Pinay virgin who is pure as the driven snow, your assets are your assets. Keep them safe in the homeland. What a fool! Now if a man has excess cash that he doesn't mind flushing down the toilet, then I say ok, do what you want with it. It is your money. But to hand over your entire accumulated wealth to anyone is just ridiculous. Not to mention the fact that the Thai wife in the film was not hot! I wouldn't even think about shagging her.
That said, the thing I liked about the film was the exploration of the relationship from the Thai wife's perspective. The wife held her cards very close to her vest. Family is the most important thing to her, the only thing. The guy was a means to an end, but nobody forced him to do what he did. It is kind of like the relationship of the spider to the fly. In the larger picture, the dude meant nothing to the girl although I am sure she had a good time fooling around with him in the beginning of their relationship. It is not her fault if the guy volunteered to jump of a cliff. It was also interesting that near the end of the film, the director focused in on the young daughter with her aspirations of becoming a stewardess. I can just see the daughter in 8 to 10 years dancing in Sherbert and having a great time. Like mother like daughter only more Hi-So thanks to the sad sack farang husband.
Moral of the story: have a good time in LOS and the PI. Treat the bar girls good and they will give you the GFE and a whole lot of loving. Just don't take it serious. It is just good times.
The above described is ONE PERSON'S world of shit. Some people live in it and others find the beauty in people and places. I have never liked this poster but many drool over his every word, the qoute above is who this guy really is.
He is obviously better than the average monger and looks down on the p4 p scene in AC. In the real world where most of us reside the bargirls of AC are hard working women trying to survive in world so brutal we mongers can't even imagine. The BGs in AC deserve respect as do any person who gets up each day and goes to work. PERIOD!
Bargirls are hard working women? They are living in an eternal party for monger god sake. How hard is that? How do their own people feel about them? In all of the countries that I have been to prostitutes are seen as lazy women who CHOOSE to make money on their backs rather than having the dignity to work an honest job. Maybe some of you guys are pioneers of the Prostitutes are People Too revolution and have a vision that most societies since the dawn of time have not seen. Who knows? It wouldn't be the first time that the majority has been wrong. I did not see Chocha Monger's post as looking down on the scene. I saw him as saying enjoy it for what it is, and if you are going to get involved in a real relationship then don't do it with a bar girl or hooker.
I have never paid any particular attention to any of Chocha Monger's posts so I have no idea why a few guys are against him. However, to me, his most recent two posts were spot on. Putting hookers are pedestals? Come on man. When searching for a mate I do not put bar girls in the same pool with university educated women with non-hooker jobs. And why should you have to dress up for a hooker? My first few times going to Help Disco in Rio I would wear a suit and tie and crocodile shoes. I must have looked like a damn fool. These days you can find me in High Society in AC wearing jean shorts, a tank top, and flip flops.
Putting the shoe on the monger's foot, if you were down on your luck and needed medicine and food or a new car, and your daughter decided the only way was for her to go work in a bar in AC, how would you feel about it? Would you give her your blessings and wish her all the luck to find as many guys as she can for sexual relations because she would then be a "hard working women trying to survive in world so brutal"? If so, then send her my way first so I can skeet in her mouth and face and take pictures to post here.

Nirvana
I was in the new Nirvana Club tonight. There was quite a few 8. 5's there. I was with another cute girl but they sure were tempting!
Nirvana is located in the old Alaska Club space.
Just to clarify. . . . . Nirvana is located in the old Coyote Ugly space.
I was there on opening night and at least on that night, I was not impressed. They had been open since 3 PM and may have lost some of their staff to EWR's. Who knows? They had only 7 or 8 girls on stage with half of those bored and swinging in the two swings they have installed on the stage.
It is a NEW club, so they will probably need some time to iron out the staffing. Reportedly, some of the girls from Number 7 bar landed there.

The Monger Dichotomy
I've been following the running commentary on bar girls for the past several days, not because any new insights were presented, but because the "debate," about the topic reinforced some earlier conclusions I had reached about this recurrent theme. My interest has beEN piqued not so much by posters' opinions, but by what the entire collection of points of view appears to suggest about this community. It seems to me that, related to this topic at least, posters fall into two generic groups: those who see ladies working in bars as actual people, struggling to support themselves and often heir families, and those who see them as mercenary, often lazy, sperm recepticles, just interested in the contents of mongers' wallets. I side with the former category, and believe that few of these young women dreamed of selling their bodies as a career. Some of those who feel otherwise fail, I believe to consider the socio-cultural contexts that have conspired to place these women into the bars and clubs and streets. That many of these young women may have become hardened, jaded and less than truthful should come as no surprise, given the endless bs with which they deal day-to-day, the contemptuous manner in which they're viewed and treated by some, and the cognitive dissonance precipitated by what they do vs. The lives they wish they could lead.
For those who have never been exposed to the extreme poverty, large families and subsistence living conditions from which many of these ladies come, perhaps you should venture into such communities during your next vacation. Who knows? Such an experience might even engender a bit of, if not compassion, then at least understanding.
Unfortunately there are some like this on the board and seems to be an increasing trend more the worse. And CM while giving blanket statements as Capt Munch says, does not to my knowledge post much aboutisi experiences or photos of all the cuties he claims he has seen. So maybe all hearsay or fantasy FF who knows but unwelcome by many.
Whilst ISG is a great board, its very nature is international.
For a more detailed board that is fairly specific about Angeles, theres a lot more information on a couple of other boards.
The likes of ChochaMonger don't seem to exist there though, given his very self identifying style of prose, but that is from where he derives a certain amount of his information. Those who are addicted to the Philippines will easily enough find it.

QUOTE=Mr Enternational;1589690 Just what are you doing or not doing.
Let me clarify, E. I've never met an AW whose emotional needs I was able to continue to meet over time. My experience has been that they become more competitive, not more cooperative over time. I've had a series of approximately two-years apiece with these gals and they either turn into menopausal psychotics or else they don't know what the hell they want. And once their emotional needs are not met, the sex takes a nosedive so I split. Just my. 02. YMMV. Maybe it's just me but judging from 90% of my buddies who are married or have GF they all complain about basically the same thing I am saying. I prefer the feminism of the oriental or latin woman in her own country, not the USA.

GE.
Well said GE!
Whilst I believe that there are valid points in nearly of the posts here, this discussion has been full of generalisations and stereotyping.
In my opinion, many of the posters are only able to view the topic through Western eyes! They have no idea of the sense of filial responsibility that many of these SYTs have. And those from developed countries cannot truly appreciate the utter despair of having no education, nothing to eat, and no prospects for a decent job. Many have starved to death or died because of inability to pay for medical services in some of these Asian countries during recent years (38 million starved to death in China during the Great Leap Forward); this influences the culture and attitudes.
Based on my experience of having lived in Asia for 30 of the last 40 years, the following is my understanding of many of the reasons for the girls entering the industry (it is impossible to put percentages on each of the reasons as no real research has been carried out, and they would vary from country to country and even province to province).
Willing(?) Entrants:
• earn money to support the family
• earn capital to establish a small business, buy land, or build family home
• worked in related industry (veggie masseuse, receptionist etc) and after living with and speaking to WGs, decided the business was OK for a while
• preferable to working in a factory and living in a squalid dormitory
• very low self-esteem leads girl to believe that prostitution is all she is good for
• easy way to earn good money whilst they still have beauty (make hay while the sun shines)
• lazy
Less Than Willing Entrants:
• induced by no-good lazy boyfriend back home, on the false promise that the money will establish their start in marital life
• kidnapped or lured under false pretences, and forced into prostitution (slavery)
• forced into industry to support drug habit
• forced into industry to repay debts (to gangsters)
• taken by relative/friend and induced to become WG and too scared to leave because of shame to family etc
• employed under false pretences (as GRO etc) and 'strongly' encouraged to go with customers
• sent (knowingly) by father to job (eg dancing job) where the girl is coerced into prostitution (father wants to buy land, carabao etc).
In all but the last reason, the immediate family and the rest of the village are generally unaware of the girl's activities (although they may rightfully suspect the nature of her work). And sometimes, the girl is scared to leave because the employer threatens to tell her family and village of her work.
Now, the reasons for the girls' attitudes and performance after they start work, is a whole different story.
Just my opinion!
Can you guys who are in AC now let me know is the weather ok for me to come? I read about floods and rescheduled flights in Manila, I was wondering whether I should postpone this trip until another time. I can't seem to find great detail on the weather there except for the temperature.
Thank you in advance guys.
This could be interpreted as a mind boggling lack of preparation but I'll assume its a sincere but poorly thought out post. In the Phils and throughout South East Asia there are two seasons. Dry season (hot & humid but few storms) & Wet season (hot & humid with almost daily storms & the occasional typhoon).
The wet season affects Manila much more than AC. Manila regularly has flash flooding & *MASSIVE* traffic chaos associated with it. Manila traffic is beyond my tolerance. The Main international hub is in Manila hence flights affected by tropical storms & Typhoons.
In AC you get temporary disruptions by heavy storms of shortish duration, sometimes at the height of the rainy season you get days of heavy rain. Power outages in shopping centres & public buildings associated with storms as in the rest of the Phils are common but usually short duration here.
Since you are asking this question on a sex forum one assumes you'd like to know the affect of the rainy season has on the local supply. In short rainy season is "the hungry season". Bars are quieter (less customers). You are more likely to get a GFE or even temporary GF as the girls are struggling to pay the rent / food / utilities bills. I'm talking about the average bar girl. The top end model quality girls are all on long term leases by wealthy east Asians, Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, Local rich guys. They have no such concerns. Things are less hectic & plenty of women to buy over priced watered down drinks for.
Its ok to come now. Just keep an eye on Typhoon info via your air carrier. They will be your best resource for flight disruptions. I can't believe I have to even type this.

Just my opinion!
Pretty good summation from you and GE. In my experience (I know far to many BG's here LOL) The majority are single mothers caught in a poverty trap & its the blood sucking families behind it either overtly or covertly. Some give up office work in Manila because they perceive this work to be potentially better paying but from what I can see they are no better off because the more they earn the more is siphoned off by the parasitic families. Some never had a decent job at all and for them this is the only work they can get regularly.
One of my GF's has a near fatal dose of Utang na loob. I first met her in 2008. A sweet giving girl who had only been in the bar a couple of months. She had been trying to not BF & survive on drinks but was forced by desperation to prostitute herself occasionally. She had nothing. All went to the family. 5 years later I walk back into the same bar on a recent research field trip, there she is zombie shuffling looking exactly the same. I took her out really just to talk with her to see how she was going (yes guys we shagged like reunited lovers that night). She still has nothing. All given to the family. I went to visit where she lives, a bed space in her older sisters place. Basically a tin shack in the mud. A couple of sets of thread bare clothes, one pair of cheap sandals. The worst case I have ever seen.
I went to visit her family because she asked me to & since we knew each other it didn't seem insincere. A dirty half falling down hovel in a near by city filled with a huge number of unemployed males and females together with a plague of small children. Everybody was smoking. She asked me for some money for her mom & dad & I gave it to her. 10 minutes later crates of Red Horse & ice were arriving, packets of cigarettes were arriving, the party was on.
I walked across the street to a large well presented house belonging to her 'Ate'. We had a brief courteous chat. She pointed to the girl standing with the boozing family, shrugged & said "she loves her family". I raised my eyebrows & nodded, we both knew what she meant. So sad.
Sure it could happen anywhere, but the difference is that guys in Thailand and PI are letting HOOKERS take them on an emotional roller coaster because they have immersed themselves in the GFExperience (read fantasy/lie).
Just because you shack up with someone does not mean you have to put all of your heart and money into it. Just read Thai Visa or Pattaya Daily News and you will see the disporportiante amount of foreigners who meet their demise off of balconies each week (in Pattaya at least). For such a small resort city this should not be the case. You don't see it happening like that in say Malaga, Spain. The X-factor is the guys truly believing they have found the loves of their lives, only to be disappointed soon after or much later.
