I'm still a newbie. My first visit was about 1.5 years ago. Since then, I think I've visited 7-8 times, maybe more. Now, I just pass time until my next visit. I enjoy everything about my trips, except the 6 hour flight! I truly enjoy the Mexican people. Even the ones trying to rip you off. Can't blame them for trying. LOL.

Over a few trips, some of which have exceeded a week, I've gotten close to a few chicas. Too close, in one case. But I think I gained alot of insight into their culture. Beyond the obvious enjoyment, which is second to none, it's been a great learning experience for me. Counting the weeks to my next visit.

This question relates to bars, restaurants, etc. In Spain last time I was there it was frowned upon to leave a tip. It was considered an insult. Change less than 1 Euro was ok. Is Tijuana like that outside the clubs, or is everyone expecting a tip. If so, what is the percentage for restaurants and bars?

How much time / money do you have to invest to gain her trust? Do you get discounted sessions, free sessions without a catch? I've gotten countless numbers but it was always business and useless, like texting a brick wall. However recently I've managed to hit it off with a certain hk girl. First night I met her she quoted $90 for ariba which was disappointing. But I stayed for a couple drinks and we were licking each other's necks in no time. She recognized me the next week and it was more of the same. I've been into the escort scene lately so ariba at the bars hasn't been a priority to me, I'm satisfied just hanging out after a top notch escort session. Nevertheless, we've texted every other day for a month. She'll send me all the selfies I ask and vice versa, we adore each other blah blah. At some point the cards have to be out on the table I guess. I guess I'll get the room and put the ball in her court. If she gives me a long passionate no clock watch session then we're good to go. If she's all business, money up front, out in 40 minutes then the honeymoon is bye bye. We'll see, it's exciting either way LOL.

Not sure I'm qualified to answer that. No doubt ymmv applies to that question more than any other.

I also don't want to disclose too much in an open forum. But I'll share my general experiences. One chica and I hit it off very well right from the start. There was a chemistry there that never existed in a business transaction, so to say. Three "dates" later, things progressed. The third date was free. And we decided to pursue where it would lead. It developed beyond a business transaction. For various reasons, it didn't work out. I think, most importantly, the cultural differences caused issues. Expectations were very different. But I will say, I learned an awful lot from her about the Mexican culture.

Two other situations to share that are oddly very similar. Both started with a date through an agency. Then a second. Both ended up leaving the agencies (different agencies) but we exchanged info. I still see both on my visits. They are free, unrushed sessions. I typically by them dinner and a drink or two, but it's not a precondition.

From my experience, if you treat them well, and there's that intangible chemistry, anything can happen.

I once got my car towed and the impound guy asked for a tip. Best advice is to either not tip if no real service was provided, or tip sparingly. If someone really goes out of their way to do something nice and doesn't ask for a tip, by all means give him $2-$5 dls. But don't tip generously thinking you'll garner respect. You'll just get looked at like a sucker and a mark. A $1 tip per round of drinks is standard, maybe $2 for an upscale place or if you're ordering from the top shelf. At casual restaurants 10% is the norm. For a nicer dinner 10%-15% max. Don't tip 20% here-it's way too much. The standard wage working a low skill job is about $1500 mx ($85 dls) a week. Leaving a $10 dls tip for a $50 dls meal is too much considering a typical wage of $17 dls per DAY.

For me, this has happened only 1 time. My favorite HK girl spent the night with me at Ticuan and no money changed hands. That night was never repeated because I then realized she was serious that she wanted to be my wife. I also got worried when she got my email address associated with my VIP card, not sure exactly how she got that.

I got to that point with her over the course of about 1 or 2 years, 20 visits to HK, and about 6 sessions in Cascadas. We would spend much time together chatting in the club, sometimes with a drink and sometimes without one, which the messeros hated. We were comfortable with each other and talked about anything, including how much money she had been making.

Here is an easy way to start haggling. Once they quote you a price, laugh out loud, then counter-offer at 50 percent. Somewhere in between is a reasonable price.

The quickest and easiest way to make deals with taxi drivers is to walk down the taxi row, hold out a 50-peso note or $3, telling the driver, Hong Kong or la frontera.

Within 1 minute or so, a driver would accept the offer and open the door for you, rather than wasting ours waiting for the next drive for $ more.
