But I am going all over the country at a moment's notice. I never really have a plan when I go to DR. I just go with the flow. One moment I am off in La Vega and the next moment in San Francisco. I may stop to eat fish in Boca Chica on my way out to Juan Dolio. Before my fish is ready, I need to run by Ole to get me 3 bottles of Baldom hot sauce to take back to the States with me.

Then I need to run to old girl's place way across town to get my nails done. I like being mobile and moving on my own schedule, not on Uber's, Caribe Tours', or Metro's.

Next time I will probably head out to Bahia de Las Aguilas. That is 10 hours west by bus, but only 6 hours by car. And I want to stop where and when I want to stop. I might see some cool shit and want to pull over to experience it. All you can do is wave at it through the window when you are on a bus.

Next month when I get to Brazil me and girlfriend are doing the same thing. Only thing we have is a car rented. We are driving 14 hours down the coast from Natal to Salvador in 10 days stopping where we want to stop and seeing whatever we find interesting to see. That will be the life; not hopping on a bus to get to the next city then having to depend on other transportation to take us around. You only live once and I am trying to see and experience some shit while I am here, not just stick my dick into various holes. I am a tourist as well as a monger.

I know of at least three people that would not consider themselves expats who maintain cars and apartments here. With "me no like casa guy" it's personal. He has posts deleted from my blog for being argumentative with me. But the shadowing does promote exchange even when the forum is yesterdays news and close to being played out because of no real information being posted up in here by the off-islanders who should be in the position to provide insight into the current situation. There have been two individuals whom I helped: Coolgreg and MasterofNone. They came in here asked questions, had a great trip and then posted nothing. No trip report, nada. But "me no like casa" guy wants to take issue with me for providing information from the perspective of an Expat that might actually help an off-islander handle his business better. Why is that?

Trip notes:

3rd dedicated trip to Santo Domingo. 5th overall to DR. Decent Spanish here. Brought my virgin buddy along. Zero Spanish, zero international travel experience, but enjoys mongering in the sex prison that is the US. *.

We stayed in Piantini in an Air be&be. Decent place. Had a nice second floor terrace to entertain groups of girls. Also had a pool side terrace that worked well when we wanted to split up and entertain. *.

I mostly worked my usual semi pros but did meet one civi from Tinder who was just super sweet. Met up for drinks in Colonial with her friend and my friend. Dinner two nights later and it was game on. Super toned body with easily double the's. Talk about fantasy sex. The best was that she was just down to earth and sweet. Love finding those diamonds. *.

My boy did a LOT of work on Tinder. We realized that paying for the superlikes (25 of them) and going that route really puts you in the front of the line. Anyone who hands over money is part of the problem not part of the solution. We've been over this many times over the years. The police will use all sorts of nonsensical tricks to get you to hand over money. Stall, delay, intimidation, threats to tow your car. It's all nonsense. First of all only AMET (the traffic police) can give you a traffic ticket. If you make it clear you are in no hurry and as long as you don't get aggressive or loud they will eventually go away. You have to let them save face. I get it, if you are visiting for a handful of days it's not worth the time or trouble to save a few hundred pesos. If you drive regularly you see it differently.

I speak the language, so I had no issues going to Agora Mall, Sambil Mall, Blue Mall or Galleria 360 and pulling some chicas with daygame. I did get pulled over by AMET for talking on my cellular without a hands free device. I was wrong, and on my way to the airport (leaving the country that day), so I paid 500 pesos. I still have another report to go from my trip last month to DR, yet due to extenuating circumstances I have somehow found myself here again. This trip is looking alllll the way up from the last one.

First I booked a car for the lowest I have ever seen: $6/ day! I know I said I would get the SUV from now on. It was only $18, but since I didn't plan on driving out of town, I kept with the midsize. Man the DR has had the best deals since the negative publicity of a few months ago. Flights direct from 120 usd each way, non stop (Orlando to SDQ). I've got airnbn owners calling me which is a first. I'm contemplating buying ticket months in advance but I see the flights creeping up around May. POP Airport is ridiculous if you haven't priced it lately but SDQ has frequency and prices that make the south coast golden.

Bad press or not the prices for day-to-day expenses have not changed a bit and are in fact are higher for products that are imported and purchased with dollars. Prices in the pussy market are not down. They have remained the same or gone up. V's and C's (C) have entered the market strong and driven prices up. I was in Juan Dolio recently stayed at Caribe Paraiso apartahotel and saw this real sexy busty thirty something working at the restaurant directly across the street. Fucking mafia taxis want 2 or 3000 P. Uber doesn't always go there. The return bus to Santo leaves at 8:30 AM however. Best massage I ever had in my life was from Haitian Mary on the beach there for 1000 P which is another reason I go there. Cheers.

Long story short everyone orders food and the dumb American is expected and stuck with the bill after the aunt and mother very politely say thank you and leave BEFORE the damn bill even gets to the table. I pay the 3400 pesos bill leaving me with exactly 100 pesos. I tell her I'm going to my apartment she asks she can join me. I told her no because she had to get her kids home. The aunt and mom come out from wherever they were and get the kids and cousin and they leave.
