After a long period of absence I'm back in Dubai. This time better prepared, since I now discovered this site, and collected tons of info with rtff. As mentioned before by other, the scene changed over the years from CIS as prime targets and AMP as avoidable to they other way around. I have to thank the contributors for their adventures they shared and time invested in doing so. I had a great time getting through them.

My experiences are old and probably most will be out dated in this fast changing city, but still their could be some value. Like the garage club in Ramee hotel, Nasr Square, vibrant life music, a joy to watch the dancers, lots of frisky east and west Africans, but. More down too earth than other places in this country, so don't expect a glamorous ambience. And the bar at Phoenicia Hotel, also Nasr square, where parttimers could be found, its a small bar at the ground floor, almost at the back. If not confirmed by others, I will have to see myself the next days if they are still worth a visit.

But there's another view.

There are close to 15,000 reports on the Dubai thread and nearly 500 even in the AMP's thread. Discounting for the useless posts that one can skim through in five seconds, it still takes a minute on average to read a couple of posts. So about ten hours to read even the last thousand posts.

Now this might be a perfect use of time for a few guys. But not for everyone.

There will always be those on ISG who treat it as the neighbourhood local, checking in every day and happily logging many hours per week. But there are also others who will drop in only once in a while. Like some of us go to ACE Hardware and happily putter around till we find what we need. Others want to ask the first guy with a name-badge that they see.

Of course, there's no defending bozos who waltz in and holler at everyone with a "What's the best places for girls?". But should we not provide a simpler summary for those who do not want to dig through a few hundred posts?

Here's one possible answer: Can there be one or two 'Summary Posts' (something a like version of Joe Karnavic's fine round-up of 2013) which lists the key places, girls, prices. And which is uploaded on the "Link to Posts of Distinction". Details could be provided by Senior Members on PM as always. But this would allow noobs to be pointed to a specific 'Summary Post' instead of the general direction to RTFF.

Don't get me wrong but unless you are willing to followup on your suggestion and start compiling this 'Summary report', who do you suggest do that? And who do you expect to keep updating it? What would have been showing real initiative is to have started such a report with what you have gathered from RTFF and requested others to keep updating it. Nice idea though, very Senior manager caliber. The sales people in ACE are paid to provide that service to customers.
