What you're going to get is the leftovers no one else picked, probably 1 or 2 girls to choose from. You'll choose them from pictures on cards they show you, assuming they have anyone available. That said, it's not like a tiny area. Yoshiwara is pretty damn big, with houses and businesses in between the soaplands too. I know there are 100+ soaplands in Yoshiwara. I think it's actually over 125. They're spread over like a 2 block by 8 block area, and some of the blocks are damn big.

Not every yoshiwara soapland is okay with foreigners. I think most of them are not. Maybe 20 are.

As TravelerX and Rick Rock have posted before, the "Delivery Health" aspect of TAE and THC and others is 100% legal in Japan. This means that having a guest is legal. Regarding cost to bring someone up I've never had any hotel ask or even blink an eye. At the Tokyo Hilton the doorman actually opens the taxi car door when they arrive and open the hotel door to direct the beautiful lady into the hotel. I simply meet them in the lobby and we walk to the elevator together (where I need to use my key to get to my floor). Then they exit by themselves after the 80 minutes that I usually book them for.
