Well guys this neither a FR nor a request for info but more a comment on the mongering scene at Pune. I have seen a sea change of what used to be since 90's. Also some of our friends had written about BP and their experiences recently. In the 1990's when I had come to Pune as a student and I was in the bus at it was raining heavily. That day I was in the process of submitting and applying for admission. While in the bus from Deccan to Station (those days) Laxmi Road had the two way traffic and sitting on the window seat I spotted BP. Till then a red light district was just what I had seen in Hindi and other Indian movies. But since the road was congested I was sure that there's a red light district in the city. I could spot some CSWs around Pune railway station. These were the only mongering opportunities I thought in the city. Once my college admission was done and I moved to my own accommodation all by myself the first thing I did in the evening I did was to venture into mongering. First I checked the scene at Pune railway station but dropped the idea then went to BP. I found one good and well shaped lady she said 50 Rupees I followed her into her brothel first she asked for money I gave her the amount that was fixed but then she asked for more. After sometime every penny I had was taken way by her and those days I lost 200 Rs. Fortunately I had kept some money folded in my handkerchief and that was a thousand plus cash. The advts in the vernacular newspapers had more were under the head of massage parlors but in most those MPs you could get FS for a charge of 2000 to 3000 which one could pay at counter and finish the deed tip the girl. One such MP was near the famous spice college and later moved to camp near the famous burger joint. Now this joint is closed. Then I could get some SPs later the girls and women directly bypassing the SPs since the mobile phone was with these girls or women.
