Planning my first trip to the Philippines later this year. I'm checking the PH subforums daily. My only other experience is one (1) trip to Thailand. My main interest is BBFSCIP with 18-year-olds. It went rather well in Thailand to be honest. My experience there was that:
1) ThaiFriendly freelancers never ask for condoms and generally seemed honest enough (real photos, real age, etc.).
2) Girls who work in massage parlors inevitably ask for condoms and are generally older. Young being 20, typical being mid-late 20's.
I'm generally not into manipulating girls to skip the condom. It should just never come up (as it didn't with the freelancers in Thailand). I was originally apprehensive about going to Thailand, but PH was closed when I went on my trip, and I was pleasantly surprised. I honestly don't care about bar girls; sure, it's nice to be able to look at the goods upfront, but finding them online and having them come over for ST / LT is enough for me. So my questions (for now) are:
A) do massage parlor girls in the PH also skew to the younger (18-20) side, and do they insist on condoms?
B) how's the online PinaLove / DIA / etc. Game these days?
C) Manila or AC? My experience from Thailand tells me Manila would be superior. I'm tall, white, reasonably attractive, and in my 30's, and I really enjoyed the amount of girls available in Bangkok compared to smaller places.
D) My experience in BKK was that a lot of the 18-19 year olds were not available for LT. Possibly because they still live at home. Does the same hold true for Manila (or AC)?
Many thanks in advance to all you pioneers!
PedroMorales,
Thank you. My question was to Si6798 to understand his insight.
Most of the airlines & travel agents source their data via an API to Amedeus the travel platform.
I agree that this situation changes daily which complicates any monger planning to visit multiple destinations.
Anyone know if another negative rt-pcr is needed to leave phil to return to USA? I checked Qatar airlines website and it says if just transitioning through Doha no documents are needed except the ones from the country I am coming from (phil).
Thankyou.

Sheesh. Do your homework, search. Pretend you are back in medical school, or whatever school you went to.

Thankyou.
You need Antigen test within one day (not 24 hours) for return to USA. I transited through Narita and had no issues.

Thankyou.
I flew out of NAIA. I keep screenshots of all of these in a folder on my phone. I noticed many pinoy have a folder they carry with all of their documents; what a PITA (they have to flip thru their paper documents to find and show each one asked for, they drop them on the floor, they must be put away after showing them, and so on). Needed at the time were as follows:
Recent negative PCR test (less than 48 hours prior). Ibaski says Antigen is now OK*.
Destination traveler form if needed in your inbound destination (LOS Angeles County has their own app for it; $500 fine for not having it ready to show at inbound LAX Immigration**). I had been completely unaware of this needed app until the PAL check-in clerk showed me the large sign on the wall requiring it. She was helpful in helping me download and fill in the app; a simple set of health questions (have you had a fever, you must wear a mask, blah blah). Its frustrating that I purchased my PAL airline ticket online and received no PAL notice of this (shocked, right?).
Purchased ticket and / or Boarding Pass.
Most recent visa extension (or SRRV, etc).
BI Exit Clearance Certificate if you were in Phils more than 6 months.
Passport picture page.
Vaccine card (or in my case, electronic version).
* There are labs everywhere that offer quick tests, completed in less than a day. I have posted pictures before here with the names and contact info of such labs (RTTF). For an additional fee they will send someone to your home for the swab a day prior to your departure. PAL also operates their own lab that requires no appointment, located next to Robinson's Mall Malate, on Padre Faura St, corner Adriatico (right next to their ticketing-sales office). You can do a social media search for such labs also. Costs for PCR tests were about p2500-3000 if you go to their lab, and 3500-5000 if they send the nurse to your place.
** Both frustrating and a joy, when I arrived at LAX, the Immigration officer only scanned my passport. "Where you coming from sir?" Philippines. "Welcome home and have a great day". But, but, but I have all these documents to show. . .
You need Antigen test within one day (not 24 hours) for return to USA. I transited through Narita and had no issues.
Yes its true. When arriving in the US nobody asks for the covid test results. I came in from Mexico last week and while they made a big deal of it in the Puerto Vallarta airport nobody mentioned it in JFK. Similarly coming from the phils a few weeks ago and Colombia before that.
In a broader sense, much of the rules and regulations that the US promulgates be it covid tests or policing foreign bank accounts and a myriad of other stuff, they delegate the enforcement to banks, foreign airlines etc with the proviso that if the said bank or airline doesn't comply they'll get whacked with a large fine, and as nobody can ignore the US market they comply.
There are multiple places in Manila to get the rapid test. The cost by Glorietta was 450 pesos and another place by Kalayaan and Makati ave got 1200 pesos.

They just rely that the checks with airlines will work. From what I know, USA is the only country where you do not have to go through immigration when you leave the country. While that example does not apply to current situation, it does reflect on the logic.
To Westie's point, USA always required only Antigen testing but reduced to one day from 72 hours prior. The problem with some of the countries is, to get into airport you need a PCR test. I. e. Kenya.
The reality is there is no one answer, you have to follow your itinerary and check all the boxes for entering and / or leaving a country to the T.
The good news is I see lot more travel now vs 2021 Fall and the lower air fares will follow. The bad news is we will be back to crowds be it in airports, hotels or wherever.
I personally decided not to go to Thailand with their silly additional PCR test requirements.

It is the same as your boarding pass. You need that to get on the plane, but nobody will ask to see it once you get to the USA. Hopefully Slow Biden will get rid of that dumb rule soon.

The 2 additional security screenings at the gate at NAIA (combined Xray / documents check) are required by the US, not PAL or the Phils government. Many of you will recall that even before Covid, at NAIA for flights going to America, often there was an additional passport check just to get into the seating area at the gate. Even leaving the seating area to go to the CR meant that you had to show your passport again to get back into the seating area. This was a requirement of the US.

Then I guess there is also the identification issue that there are lots of nefarious people in Ph both inside and outside airports.
Planning to travel into MNL late April, I have got the vaxx and testing requirements covered, still looking for the travel insurance. This policy should expressly cover Covid up to 35000 USD according to IATF. For those of you that already entered under this new scheme, which insurance did you get and how rigorously was this checked (and where)?
Mad house arrival the other night as many planes landed the same time. It appears to be a mad house but there is some order to it. Most of the mad house is created by the arrivalees. Just listen and follow the instructions.
Upon walking up to pre-immigration area there are desks for inspection of your documents which you will line up for. Documents include your:
Passport,
Airline boarding pass.
Recent negative Covid test.
Vaccination card.
And proof of heath insurance.
As simple as that.
Seniors will be directed to lines for seniors. This line is faster if you are not behind slow moving seniors.
At the desk they will review and approve your documents at which time they will stamp your boarding ticket. I don't know what they do if you have a photo boarding pass. Best to have a printed one.
After the approval desk you will proceed to the immigration kiosks. No lines there. Plenty of immigration officers present.
They stamp your passport and you are on your way.
Approximately 10 minutes wait to stamp at document review. 3 minutes at immigration.
Down to baggage claim. As always bags are already there on the carousel. If you are United priority then your bags are already pulled and set aside next to the line af carousel.
Get your bags and proceed thru customs to arrivals. At that point the airport itself is not very crowded compared to 2 years ago.
Money exchanged at is 51. Xx peso per $1. 00. Don't care if prime exchange rate is 52+.
Beeway driver pick up is outside at Bay 8. Lots of people there. Some confusion in locating the driver.
Drove straight to Angeles City. The new bypass, expressway or whatever you want to call it is great. No traffic but have to abide by the speed law 60 kph to NLEX. Once on NLEX speed limit is 100 kph. No slow traffic along the way. I would say trip was less than 90 minutes.
No need to over think the process. Just have your documents prepared and ready.
