Hi, I'd like to know why you think Bangkok is better, please.
I normally spend all of my time in Pattaya when I visit, and have only spent a few days in Bangkok. Never been to phillipines
BKK is more modern. The infrastructure and transportation system is much more advanced. It doesn't take 2 hours to go 10 miles, like in Manila. The prices are cheaper from my experience and there are more girls in concentrated location. MP's much better. Food is much better. 4 and 5 star hotels are cheaper. BKK doesn't have a 3rd world feel. There are some beggars in BKK, but not nearly as many as Manila.
I am sure there is more.
IMO, working girls are working girls; same, same.
The only thing I know of around Khao San Road is Gullivers. It's an interesting bar; it has an interesting mix of backpackers and working girls. You can pick up both; although the white girls might be more expensive over the long run.
There are no obvious hang outs for the SWs (such as Sukhumvit Soi 3) ; there might be freelancers available at some of the discos late at night.
The Khao San Road area is a place to go to pick up backpackers. Many of the guesthouses will not be guest friendly.
Hi.
You mean that guest houses in Khao San Road are not guest friendly or hotels in general are not guest friendly to backpackers?
Hi.

You do know Khao San Road is not really a mongering area. There is some, but it is mainly for young backpackers who don't have much money.
You will see a lot more backpacker chicks than Thais.
Many of the places in that area are Hostel types. Lots of them are just a room where you share a bathroom. My son stayed in one a year ago and tried to bring a girl in and they told him NO.
I was just in BKK. Took girls from Rainbow at Nana. Super hot, young, no complaints. (there are four Rainbow clubs at Nana).
First time in BKK but I have visited Philippines many times for the same purpose. In my experience, BKK was much superior for reasons that I can explain if anyone is interested.
JC.
Hey Big Fun,
Just a question since this will be my first pull from Nana, do you generally ask them where to go for ST, or do they pretty much already have a spot they go to? I don't really want to take them back to my hotel but I guess if it's cleaner than their choices, I won't have a problem with it. I've just read in here you're not supposed to act like a newbie or they'll try and jack the rates so I just want to make it seem like it's not my first rodeo.
Thanks
Hi.

Many guest houses in Khao San Road will not allow working girls in.
It's interesting to stay in the Khao San Road area. It has an ecclectic scene (IMO).
Actually, numerous hotels are popping up catering to the slightly more upscale group than the backpackers. But it's still a good scene to attempt to pick up female backpackers, drink with people, stay at value accomodations, get cheap massages (legit) , and eat cheap decent food.

Thanks
Hi Noodle,
There is a short time hotel at Nana Plaza. Near the stairs on the left hand side as you enter the complex. On the 2nd or 3rd level from memory was about 300P for a couple of hours. Reasonable facilities. I. E. Shower and workbench. Enjoy!

Thanks
The prices are 2000-4000, trying to negotiate is waste of time. However, most do not want to go long time anyway. If I were you unless you are just staying really far from Nana, I would just to your hotel. The cab is just more time to feel her out, get to know her. Going straight to ST rooms, your whole experience could be over in 10 to 15 minutes.

2-4 K? That is whack. 1500-2k from the gogo's. 1k-1500 for the freelancers at Nana. I have taken many from there and never paid more than these rates.
Also, it is rare to get a runner in the Nana area. Most for stay for at least an hour or longer.

It doesn't hurt to start low. This is low season. Bargain with a smile!
1000-2k from gogos.
500-1500 for freelancers

I know you must be a super negotiator.
Below are just a few of your posts regarding prices.
7-27-11:Getting 1500ST is still possible but it's not nearly as easy as it used to be. If you build a lot of rapport with the girl it's 'easier' to get 1500, but so many of these girls have been SPOILED by guys (mostly docile japs and stupid tourists) who just lay out 2000-2500 fot ST without a fight.
3-13-11:ST=1000-2500 depending on the conditions
1-27-11:If he is paying market price 3000ST (BKK massage parlor) than he is not an idiot. (market price?? This is insane advice)
You may want to follow your own advice. Well, maybe not.

3-13-11:ST=1000-2500 depending on the conditions
Yep, the conditions now are "low season" ST can go as low as 1000 for gogo girls.
Always negotiate in LOS! Don't let the cunts get the best of you. LOL

You are at 300 baht already, because you will end up giving the waitress a few baht. She says 2000. Some bars have these prices printed on cards. You say 1500. She does not budge. You move on to the next bar to spend 300 baht, plus you are little drunker and more likely to cave to the next girl.
All go go bar girls are going to quote you 2000-4000. I understand if you live here and do this shit almost every night (like me) trying to save a little money. But if you are on vacation, fuck it. Why be a "Cheap Charlie" and they really do say this shit. Believe me, I have had it said to me.
If you want to pick girls with the saggy bellies or bad tats, or FL who are not in bikini or naked. I really do not about that.
I only pick the best looking girls, and 2000 is still a bargain.
