Located downtown on renming lu north of zhongshan lu. A classy joint but disappointingly normal service. The spa itself is quite well furnished but the attendants were many and not of much help. I have been regulary traveling to Shaoxing and have always stayed at Hotel Shaoxing International.It's again a 5 star hotel. At the basement of this hotel there is a sauna and massage centre. In the vening when you'll go there they will directly take you to the rooms and line up 3 to 4 girls for you to choose. The service is good and communication is easy even if you don't know the language. Damage RMB 800 for about 2 hours includes everything.

I lived in Kunshan last year. It's a small city with a hell of a lot of action. There are two main RLDs. The first is a series of alleys in the apartment buildings right outside the train station. These are low class. If you want to find a better RLD continue walking down the main street which starts right outside the train station. You will have to walk for 10-15 minutes. You will eventually come to a bridge. Don't cross the bridge! Turn right and walk down that street to the end. You'll be in a superb RLD. Don't pay more than 150 RMB. I'm sorry I can't give street names because my Chinese sucks. I believe that the main street is Renmin Lu. If these instructions are no good, don't worry because there are about 10 RLD's and any hotel you stay in will have room service.

I have spent the last few days in Danyang. It is a relatively nice medium size city. It has a much smaller feel than the larger cities in China. As a foreigner you still get looks when you enter a restaurant, shop or in the more remote parts of the city.

I find very few reports on Shaoxing. Happened to stay at Yuedu Hotel (Tel. 0575-5148888) No. 1 Shengli East Road, Shaoxing, Zhejiang. The hotel is at a good location, close to the biggest shopping street of Shaoxing. As I came here for the first time, and had no clue of the action whatsoever, I tried within the hotel. Now in Changzhou, I tried the aforementioned place, with good results. The staff and girls seem foreigner-friendly, but not much English, I think you'll need to speak some Chinese. Girls #21 and 22 were both very friendly, and active in bed. 21 was the more outgoing type, and 22 was more like a shy girl-next-door, but both seemed to like sex very much. They were both pretty enough for me. #12 was just so-so, and #25 was DFE, I would not recommend her. Well time for some well neaded info on Changzhou. I am staying at a 4* hotel called Jinling Mingdu Hotel on 39 Heping North Road. This hotel is not cheap if you look ik up but for some reason I got a discount and now have a nice dubble room for 370RMB. It has great food, gym, sauna, bar and massage. Almost forgot: As you leave the hotel (to the right) you will pass two bars. The first I have no info about as I didn't enter the place. For both you need to go up a flight of stairs. Interesting 3 days traveling in the outer reaches.
First, in Zibo, in Shandong province. I asked for #88 at the 5 Star Hotel Hawaiian Center for a 2 hour in room massage for 568. I stayed at the Red Coral Hotel, Zhengzhou earlier in the month.
Location: Er Ma Lu (# 2 Horse Rd? ) within easy walking distance of the Zz Railway Station, reputed to be the busiest (in terms of passenger traffic) in China and possibly the world.
Hotel layout:
I) reception is through the middle set of glass doors and turn hard left.
Immediately inside the double glass doors (within 6 or 8 metres) there is a lift well which has to be entered from the other side. This means that the "walk of shame" is only 6 or 8 metres long, as the lift well obscures the view from reception (where all but one or two of the night staff are).
Ii) entrance to the 2nd level sauna and massage area is to the right and up the sweeping stairway (report below).
Iii) entrance to the KTV also on the 2nd level (did not sample).
Iii) there is a small, and almost unused bar area at the right, beyond the stair case on the ground level.
Hotel summary: clean, comfortable, good location for my business, close to Zhengzhou railway station. Other hotels probaby closer to bars and clubs (in the eastern part of the city). Not a problem for me, as that part of the city is just a 10 kwai taxi fare away, and the railway station always has lots of taxis.
Day 1.
Checked in late in the afternoon. Hot in Zz, and warm inside the north facing room. Took a few hours to organise the details of my 4 days of business.
At about 9pm went out for a walk to find my bearings, find some food, and see if I had any "yellow fever". Decided that "yellow fever" I had, so began my multi-purpose mission.

Day 3 (second part)
Late afternoon tried the in-house foot massage 2nd floor, my first, after meaning to have one in China for the past year. Damage: 98 kwai. (Probably about twice that of non-hotel foot massage.) Staying at the Dynasty Hotel on Shengli Lu and happened upon the best BBS FS. Out the front and head right a block, then left at the DIO coffee shop toward the Night Market. 100 meters up, left side, there’s a little alley. I bought a detailed map at the convenience store immediately to the left of the main exit from the train station (5 kuai).
For various reasons (mainly pressure of work, and access difficulties because of site blocking in China) I was not able to research CZ on the forum prior to arrival.
Curious at about 7pm, I rang in-house massage on the 4th floor, but they didn’t do “room massage”.
At about 8pm on Saturday night I decided to check out BBSs, my plan being to (i) undertake reconnaissance, (ii) have a meal, (iii) see how I felt later in the evening, and then perhaps (iv) re-check the BBSs with a view to stimulating their cash flow in these troubled economic times. :)
The area I checked was the big block immediately to the SW of the station, one side of which was formed by my hotel’s street, XXX
There are a number of hu2 tongs4 (alleyways). I found perhaps 4 or 5 BBSs without scissors with the ubiquitous swirling neon sign. One BBS had scissors and the swirling sign, but the air of a small establishment which also offered “specials” out the back. When I was there last May, I had dinner in a very nice restaurant in a Hotel, which I believe was very central, near the temple.
Since we usually stay in the Changzhou Grandhotel, but because even if it is 5 star looks a bit old & rundown, we have asked to see the rooms of this hotel, which were very nice but still stinking of fresh paint as the place was brand new.

I will be visiting Yangzhou for two weeks and it'll be the first time I'll have tried looking for some action in China. Looking for any specific pointers on that city and also to confirm my understanding of what to look for after having read the forum.
Looks like a fair price is about 400 RMB, and that I should be looking in hutongs for BBS "with no scissors" or else trying the massage at hotels. I will not be able to use my own hotel as I am travelling with people I'd rather not include--wouldn't want to run into them in the halls or lobby caught "red skirt handed" as it were.
With the BBS what do you say when you approach them? I am a little anxious that I might approach a legitimate establishment and say the wrong thing. Do you literally look to see if there are scissors? What then do you say?
For massage is there any way of telling in advance which places are likely to include some action versus regular massage?

My first scout around, I wandered around town a bit trying to get a sense of where things might be. No luck in actually finding any trouble to get into, really hoping that one of you guys will pipe up and give me some clues.
What I know so far:
I wandered lots of alleyways and saw lots of BBS's but they all appeared to have scissors--people were getting haircuts in every one of them. Did not look like anything would be going on there. I am not sure these exist in YZ, maybe I just don't know what to look for, or where to look for them.
What are all these places with stairs that go upstairs and some little desk at the downstairs? I can't read Chinese. They have a sense about them like there might be something interesting going on there? Are they massage places? I realized I need to learn some Chinese characters, specifically what is the character for massage? I will be going to RTFF to see if I can learn that, or from somewhere.
The area that looks most interesting is in the alleys and small streets off Siwangtinglou between walmart and the tower. There were a bunch of alleys that plainly had massage places, but I didn't stumble across this area until I was out of time so I didn't give it a try. There are also a lot of little majhong parlours along those alleys and my suspicion is that gambling and sex somehow go together.
I will be exploring that area again and I'll let you guys know what I find.
Meanwhile if anyone can give me any clues to guide my search I would be not only very grateful but sure to post the results here next time I get a chance to do a wander around.

China is a huge country with more than a billion people and even the small provincial towns are big. So it is unlikely anyone on this forum will know anything about what is happening in Haian, or Jiamusi, or Handan, or Qiqihar or any other place off the beaten track.
Your safe bet in places like this is the large middle class hotel with rates of about 300RMB for rooms advertised and rooms going for 100-150RMB. Usually these hotels have beauty salon or massage service, sometimes even advertised in the room with scarcely clad ladies. Sometimes, not always, you get an inviting telephone call around 10. 30 PM. If they are unknown to foreigners, they might hang up as soon as they understand you don't speak Chinese. Say ''anmo'' to break the ice might help. If you establish contact, after some ten minutes there is a knock on the door and the lady enters. You can ask for another one, sometimes they are surprised if you accept the first one. Full service (one hour) should cost some 300 RMB for foreigners. Make sure you get it written down to prevent nasty discussions later on. The young lady may be more nervous than you are, so sometimes the second night is much better. And if they are used to silly foreigners, the prices may have gone up. If you want to make your own choice, try to find the bath house or beauty salon floor and ask for anmo showing your room key.

A 20 year old girl for 2 hours, 300RMB. Overnight was 300RMB from midnight. I didn't have that much time (needed to go to work the next day).
Taxi fare, to and fro: Worked out to about 108RMB. I was nice enough to give her taxi fare back (30RMB), so that is included. On the way back, I took a "black/ illegal taxi," and it happens that he works in the Red Light District of the city (there is only one) and so he had the numbers of all the Mamasans. The area is called 湖塘东方路。
The district to which I went was one of the strangest places I've ever been in China. The taxi driver on the way there said to me: "I know of one place where girls are working, but I can't guarantee that they have started work." So, I went along and he took me to a place that was ostensibly a noodle shop (and there were people eating noodles), but in the back there were 6 working girls. They made a big show of being afraid of me (even after 15 minutes of gentle conversation in Chinese), and so I went down the street to the next place (which was a mini-mart/ place for the girls to sit). It took a bit of talking, but I managed to get one of the girls to go with me. She was a local girl, and a bit Rubenesque (which I like), and unshaved (which I like-- I had to make a point of gently asking if the girl had vaginal hair).
We came back to my place (a distance of 14km) and had a nice shower and unrushed service.
I will not share the number of the girl, but I will share the number of the driver (he only speaks HEAVILY ACCENTED Chinese): 13057165281. Because the sex industry there is very unstable, he is also a connector for all the various mamasans (they are his customers).
It happens that I took the same girl 2 nights in a row. Part II follows. This is just the section detailing the logistics of the trip.
There is another area here in Changzhou called 西新桥三村/飞龙路.
What I found here was:
There are lots of women working in the 胡同 and a couple of Papasans/ touts bringing in passersby, but there is NO take out in these places, and I was not able to steer the discussion into what the price would be for overnight. The price was something like 100RMB (that is the lowest I was quoted) and they are all short time --of necessity. (The rooms don't seem to have any air conditioner, and I could see my breath this evening. It's not hard to imagine why this was not an ideal place for fucking.) Chinese is necessary here!!!
Earlier, I reported on the other area that has women in it, and I have found that there are quite a few and that (unlike the area discussed in this report) those women ARE available for take out.
When I caught taxi back, I talked to the driver to synopsize the choices available here in Changzhou and he told me that there were 3:
1. Hutang Road hookers;
2. Xixinqiao hookers;
3. Saunas. He said that the price for saunas was something like 200RMB for a short time, but that sounded too good to be true. In any case, I did walk into one of those places and priced it and the price (as I remember) was 258 for basic service and higher for "other" services. I am not sure about the possibilities for bareback in those places, but I would gather that it is very low.
Talking to the driver en route, he also mentioned that there is a town not too far from here called 丹阳, and that it is about 1 hour from here by bus. He said that overnight there was about 300RMB (the same price that it is in the first place on the list) and that there is more selection. When you add up the time wasted going back and forth (guessing about 40RMB round trip) plus the added cost of opening up a hotel room (60RMB for an hourly room and 100 for overnight sounds about right), it actually ends up being cheaper to just find a reliable Mamasan in Changzhou and work with her. (I found a girl that I really liked and told her that she could come during the daytime and we could cut out the Mamasan, but for some reason she was not interested.) The Papasan/ Driver whose number I put in the first post on this city has been able to get me two other girls. One was SMOKING hot (with a good attitude) and the other had stinky feet, but both were ultimately not suitable for further visits.
What I found was: If I went to the Hutang Road place, the girls were afraid to go with me (loss of face in front of their colleagues) but when the driver brought them to me, nothing more was said. They came right in and showered and we went about our business. The price was marginally higher (because of the driver/ papasan fee), but it was worth it on the strength of the convenience.

After settling in to the Holiday Legend Hotel (和平假日大酒店，He Ping Jia Ri da jiu dian) I took a long walk for the exercise, and to see if I could locate any places of interest for the hobby (BBS etc.), especially as I had found a few last time. My late night perambulation was confined to the area between the hotel and the railway station, along He Ping Zhong Lu (HPZL), a distance of about 2 km and a city block (approximately) either side.
I was aware of previous ISG research:

Perhaps I was a little late (about 11pm), but the places I previously reported (on the rhs, as you exit the station and proceed along HPZL) either no longer existed, or were closed for the evening.
I then scoped on the opposite side of HPZL (from the railway station, on the left hand side of He Ping Zhong Lu) in the area between the Buddhist tower and HPZL.
I found only 2 shops of interest, 1 with only 1 WG (that I could see) and a Papasam, and another, with that alluring shade of pink, with about 10 SWTs. Many looked bored watching TV, but one or two were doing embroidery (as much as I could see), and 1 or 2 were reading, probably practising their English listening and negotiation skills. (hahaha) It advertises itself as a 24 hour shop. The shop is within sight of the Buddhist tower.

I think it is obvious that (part of) my point was, and just take ISG threads for example, very few mongers make Suzhou a destination for P4P, which is good for you. If you happen to be there. The fact remains that most of China is a monger's paradise. It's been my experience that it's there, but just a little harder to find than in say, Shenzen or Shanghai or Changping.

I was in Jinan last night for one evening.
Got a recommendation from the taxi driver on the way to my hotel. After sattled down and want out the Jin Sha Tan water spa at Lishan Lu 156. At around 11 pm. At the front dest, the manager described the manu in front of the doormen, the cashier a couple of guests who I guess just had fun and was paying their due. I acctually felt unconfortable while lesening his describtion. Finally I choose the most expensive one with VIP room.

First off: I'm sorry that I can't put the Chinese characters into this report. Every time I tried to preview this, the characters came back as numbers.
As is my habit, I decided to take a trip to explore some of the less known areas of Jiangsu. The place to which I went was Jiangyin, and it is about 40km away from Changzhou.
The place can be accessed in two ways: By bus (from several stations or at several erratic bus stops along Tongjiang Road-these are not technical stops so much as places where the bus driver stops) or by taxi. I chose not to take the taxi, since it would not be worth it. But I can imagine that the price to get there would be something like 80-100RMB if you did it flat fare. As it worked out, it was 10RMB to take the bus there and 11RMB to take it back (this was / is from Chengbei Station). The way the trip worked out, boy am I glad that I didn't spend any more than 21RMB getting there and back.
There were two red light districts that I could find. The one is called NanZha and the other doesn't have a name that I could find. (What I can tell you is that as you are coming into the city from Changzhou, you'll be headed west. You'll be RenMinXiLu, and just as you cross XiWaiHuanLu; . Which runs North to South, BTW- you'll see about 10 red light shops on either side of the road. I am not sure if it sells What We Hope It Sells, since it is directly opposite a police sub station AND a middle school.)
The other district that was accessible was, as mentioned, NanZha; ; However, the problem is that this place had very few taxis that went through it (strangely enough, because there were lots of customers walking through the area).
I went through about 4 shops and looked, and I found that the girls who worked in them were a bit long in the tooth. It sure seemed that that area specialized in divorced women. They were a bit old for me, but I did find a chunkier, darker girl that I liked. I asked the boss how much it would be for a short time, and he said "100RMB." So, I asked him how much it would be to take the girl to a hotel for overnight, and he said that he did not let his girls out of the shop.
The thought of screwing in a room with a bunch of used condoms and spit and cigarette butts all over the floor was an instant mood killer, and so I left.
There were lots of Black Cars (illegal taxis) right around the place, and they were asking silly fees to take me back to the bus station to which I arrived-25RMB. 30RMB. When I finally found one for 20RMB, I took it and went back. (Incidentally, the Black Car Drivers from the bus station to the red light district were also asking silly prices. They started out with 80RMB, and I eventually got them down to 25RMB.)
The Black Car Driver on the way back called to see about a place, and he took me there and dropped me off, but I didn't find anything, nor was in the mood to look any further. I took yet another &40657; &36710; back to the bus station (10RMB). So, that was a total of 73yuan down the toilet for almost no result. (The purpose of going out there was to see if I could find overnight for about 300-400 yuan, and in that case it would be cost effective to go about 4 times per month. As it is, in Changzhou, I have a regular that I see. She's about 400yuan for 2 shots and door to door service and she's GREAT.)

I notice some people have posted reports on Jinan in the North China Other Areas thread, some in this thread. A search on baidu reveals that the official Chinese classification includes Shandong as part of East China (huadong) , so I'll post here. I hope those in search of what little information there is on Jinan will find it.
A poster from last October had mentioned a sauna called Jinshatan, but an internet search appeared to show that the place, or a place with a different name but at the same address, had been raided in March, so I wasn't optimistic about finding it open. However, I called the phone number, and the chap at the other end of the phone said it was operating normally.
So I headed down there. The address is 156 Lishan Lu; the nearest landmark is the provincial Museum, which is 90 metres to the west. I've attached (I hope) the sauna's card below.
The positives: it seems pretty safe and well-run. It was busy when I was there on a Friday and a Saturday night. The second night they gave me great line-up: around eight girls, all quite cute, a couple really nice looking (though the really cute ones gave me that "oh god, a foreigner" look which I find intensely off-putting). The routine is standard, but on both nights I was able to establish enough of a rapport with the girl to have a genuine good time. The first night was with #191, who speaks more English than any other sauna girl I've met (and seemed generally better educated than most) , though she wasn't really all that attractive physically. She also didn't like DATY, which disappointed. #195, the next night, was cuter, and in some ways more fun, and she was a bit of DATY fiend. She was also used to foreigners, having worked next to the Sofitel (of which more in a separate post).
The negatives: it's very pricey by provincial standards, similar to Beijing prices. The one hour option is rmb1, 200. They also insist on selling the disposable pyjamas; they claimed that's all there were. When I checked out, I found also that they added the standard entrance price to the bill; usually in that sort of sauna they waive that if you're doing one of the full options. I'm sure I could have haggled, but I was only passing through town and couldn't be bothered. When I took a taxi back to my hotel on the second night, the taxi driver remarked that Jinshatan was the most expensive place in town; he offered to take me somewhere much cheaper, but it was late and I didn't have it in me. I asked him the name, but of course he wouldn't say; he wanted the taxi fee for taking me.
Still, if you can stand the relative expense, it's a reliable place if you're passing through town.

I found the place through a Chinese forum and the price mentioned was RMB 468 so went in and asked for that offer. They said the price has recently gone up to 488. Or they had a 688? Service. I went with the cheaper one. Go downstairs and tell the guys you have the 488 service. They provide the locker to put all your stuff in, adjacent to showers and open scrub-down room. Didn't see any large baths. Did you see any? Scrub-down is included free and had a fun conversation with the scrub-down guys. They said a good number of foreigners from the nearby university stop by. Got the cheapest available PJs. Also the goofiest looking ones, white with cartoon rainbows on it. Almost like they're trying to shame you into buying the higher priced ones. The 488 option comes with a whole bunch of included services such as nail trimming, foot massage, etc. But I was running short on time and after sitting in the foot massage chair for a while, asked to be shown to the room. Room was very nice with attached glass-walled shower and bathroom, good sized bed, TV, mirrored ceiling. BTW, drinks are available for a very reasonable cost. Bottled water, soft drinks, etc are same price as outside. Saw a nice selection of very fine girls in the hallway. The girls were brought in one-by-one. I took the second girl they brought in, very cute 19 yo. From Dongbei, # 109? Been at this sauna for 2 months. Super lithe & high energy. Excellent catbath, BBBJ, fire & ice, very good FS. IN Changzhou now and the red light district has totally shut down. Taxi drivers say this happened earlier this year and it's not really gotten back up. Found a sauna and the price is 369, but the service is just basically a shag, nothing like normal saunas and hence, not worth the money.

There is a wonderful bathhouse / sauna that my friend took me to a few months ago and I have been going back on a weekly basis since then. The massage is usually first class. I will try to upload a map to show some of the MPs in the area. The price is usually 200 for a HJ and 300 for FS. Some places might charge a little bit more. You can also get FS in most of the hotels but it will going to be expensive. From my experience the service in MPs is not good but it is cheap. If you go to a hotel and ask for FS you can expect to pay something between 600 to 1200kuai but the service is much better. Don't ever go for a HJ massage in a hotel. It is worthless. And at the same time, the cops called me back cause I hung them up so I guess the manager didn't want any more headache with me and took the 200 rmb I handed him and walked me out and shooked my hand like 2 times and said bye. So I luckily walked out of this scam with a loss of 200 rmb. Good experience!! My suggestions to our buddies here is if you ever get stuck in similar situations, just keep your cool and don't threaten or give them shit. Just try to act buddy buddy with them and hopefully you'll get out with little damage.

I went into a small room with a shower, not bad, looked clean. They closed the door and I waited for a minute until a lady came in.
Didn't fancy her so asked for another, second one was better.

Okay so I must state that I'm in the Development Zone of Yantai and not downtown Zhifu area, so pickings are slim out here. Let me give a rundown of what I found:
A spa on Taishan Road between Changjiang Road and Lijiang Road. If your going south south, it will be on the left side of the road tucked in a corner just before you hit the residence area. Anyway, I walked up the stairs and the cute lady turned me away before I hit the second set of stairs.
If you go north toward the beach on Taishan Road past Changjiang Road but before Huanghe Road you will see many spas. I haven't been in these places so I can't say what they offer.
If you keep going north on Taishan past Huanghe Road, you will see several more smaller spas. I did go into a 3 of these and two didn't offer anything except a massage. One offered a HJ but I passed on that. These were on left side same as 7 Day Hotel.
There are yet more spas on Huanghe Road, between Xiangshan Road and Huangshan Road. I have not been to these places but I have a buddy who said they did not offer any special services.
There is a massage place near the Sheraton Hotel but as far as I know, they don't offer any special services either. At least that's what a workmate told me.
I've tried the Wechat people nearby and I connected with a few gals who worked at spas but I couldn't seem to find the spots when I took a taxi.
Zhifu might be a different experience. However since I don't know anyone there and it's a 60 rmb cab ride one way, I rarely go except for special occasions with the work mates. These days I just stay with the few indy pro's I've found on people nearby. That's about it.

But I will be in the area, (about 1 hour away), and will be doing the KTV exercise for a few days. So if you are still in the area in early March, let me know and we may be able to have beer or two. Oh man, I guess they got a management change. When I went about a year, they had a couple of people did BBFS and another couple did strictly BBJ. I heard China is cracking down on a lot of these places lately.
